This is my second LG 4K monitor. I use it for for my photo work and for programming; it's connected to a 2013 macbook pro 15" driving the display at 4k, 24Hz refresh. For the photography: calibration with datacolor's spyder worked flawlessly and images are beautiful.
I'll been using this monitor for about a month. It is by far the best monitor I have had for CAD applications. Our drawing format is 24" X 36" and this monitor can display our drawings at almost full scale making it a lot easier to work on them.
I really wanted to love this monitor. However, the blacks are just way too washed out to make it usable for anything other than email and office work. Forget about photo editing. I tried adjusting the brightness, contrast and other black settings.
Pros: It's a 4k Monitor. Reasonably bright. Fair price. Picture quality is good even with the somewhat inconsistent brightness over the entirety of the screen(you only notice when you're looking at a whole screen at one solid color or if you're actively trying to see it.
its easy to move and put together, it dosent have missing pixles or flicking edges and its fast reliable and light and has nice tilting and bending mobility so fits in nice with all my monitors / AND IT HAS EXTREMELY NICE SPEAKERS unlike most monitors they are perfect not to quiet at all its like a...
I develop software, my current setup included a laptop with a 15" 4K screen and a 2nd 23" 1080p monitor. However, since the screen was only 15" I could not really take full advantage of the resolution, and wound up just using pretty fonts, but seeing about the same amount of text on the screen as on...
I've owned this monitor for a couple of months now and it has taken most of that to get the settings right. The problem lies primarily with the EVGA 1060 6Gb video card and how it keeps its settings. Once setup, the monitor has a beautiful picture with fine detail and nice thin frame.

Great value for the price! If you want an excellent resolution and great color, for a reasonable price, this is the monitor to get!
I got home and loved my 32” inch 4K screen I would definitely recommend this screen to everyone.
