The LG 32UD99-W is a beautiful display with many strengths, but its let down by the confusing state of HDR in Windows 10, and a general lack of HDR-compatible content on PC. The LG 32UD99-W undercuts the price of top-tier 32-inch displays like the HP Dreamcolor Z32x and Dell Ultrasharp UP3216Q .

  • +

Attractive, adjustable design, Easy-to-use controls with many options, Strong color gamut and accuracy, Sharp 4K image, HDR looks incredible

  • -

Mediocre out-of-box color accuracy, Can’t technically make the most of HDR, Windows’ HDR support is touchy

Absolutely incredible for PS4 Pro - 4k resolution and HDR... FPS game mode. Very easy set up, just use HDMI cable from PS4. This is the only monitor that supports HDR... expensive but worth the money

The LG 32UD99-W Monitor is currently the best 32-inch, 4K wide color gamut (DCI-P3 95%) display on the market that also happens to support HDR10. The display itself is factory calibrated and the colors are gorgeous.

Color is great, and the thin bezels look amazing. I did notice some light bleed as I have on every IPS panel I've owned. I'd definitely recommend this for photographers!

Best picture/experience on Xbox One X. Has 5ms lag time, IPS, HDR, and AMD Freesync.

White uniformity is not satisfactory. Unfortunately, the value of this monitor is $ 900. Not enough for professional use, there is no uniformity compensation function. Because the software is not perfect, design is not professional.

Let me start out by saying that it is a really wonderful monitor, and its only fault is that it is over-advertised as an HDR monitor. In reality, the HDR mode is only usable for games, but not for everyday usage. There are two crucial issues with HDR.

There is something wrong with the pixel size of this monitor. The pixels are too small. Please see the photo attached. From a normal viewing distance. Everything appears grainy. I have had good experience with LG products but very disappointed with this one.

I use the hdr image with a very nice ps4 pro

Returned this otherwise amazing display mainly because of early adopter pains around HDR10. It needs to hit 1,000 nits for HDR to really be noticeable, compare to the Asus and Acer 4K HDR10 G-Sync displays coming soon with 384 zone LED backlighting for example.
