Over the years, I've gone from a 22" to 27" and now to 32" dual screen set up...a dual screen setup is a really easy decision for both work and play where you need multiple files and windows open at the same time to view and work on..
The screen size is a no-brainer PRO...I sit with my eyes about 4 feet (+/-6 inches, depending on if I'm sitting upright or leaning back in my chair) from the screen and working on spreadsheets, presentations, documents and viewing content on web pages (as well as watching Netflix or HD HomeRun TV)...
Yes, the screen is glossy...and it does reflect you and what is behind you to varying degrees depending on how lit your space is and the color and brightness of what is behind you. I suppose I could let the glossy screen reflection bother me, but it really doesn't..
Like most everyone else in legacy free-enterprise societies we've lowered our standards and expectations regarding reliability. Where several years ago, we rated reliability on performance over more than a 3 year span, we now feel fortunate to make it past the one-year point.
I use this for my Nintendo Switch and lesser demanding video game consoles (PS 3, and Pandora's Box 5s). The screen has no ghosting, perfect resolution scaling for the systems in use, and is pretty thin with no framing issues as well.
I do a lot of writing of reports and presentations. With this monitor I can have 2 windows side by side large enough to see an entire page easily. My productivity has gone way up with this approach.
I bought two of these monitors. They both worked great for the first couple of days. Then came the flickering and screen breaking. Then it went away so I decided to not send them back....big mikstake. Now one of them flickers all the time and is pretty much useless, and I am beyond my return window.
Does suffer because of not having a higher dots per inch which I should’ve paid attention to, but it is extremely bright and has an excellent picture which actually keeps me more interested in getting my work done.
This screen is AMAZING for the price. Don't expect top-tier gaming quality, but it's fantastic for general use and light gaming if you're not looking for ultra high-end hardware. I use it for coding and general use. Movies look great on it and its IPS!
Good monitor but order an hdmi cable if you do not have one. It only came with a vga cable which, for most people, is likely to be useless.
Looks good--Controls seem to be impossible, I use it with my Lonovo, my Dell, and my Acer. It seems that it needs a remote to control the audio and adjust the video, but if one was supposed to have come with it, it didn't come.
wife is very happy with this monitor. just know vesa is probably not compatible with many mounts. I got impatient and made an "adapter" out of wood for a monitor arm
