It took me 2 weeks to search for a perfect monitor and finally I made a decision to by the LG 27UL850-W. Works great with my MacBook Pro also has 2 hdmi that I have hook up with my Nintendo switch and ps4. It comes with a usb c cable which I hooked up with my MacBook Pro, hdmi plus a DP cable.

I've bought I bought this monitor to connect to my Macbook Pro 13. Video and charging via one cable, plus USB ports. Great screen, convenient menu. Excellent stand without clearances. At first glance it seemed a bit large but after a couple of days it turned out to be the right one
The color is great! With 4k and HDR400, there is no going back from my old TN panel 2k display. However, HDR on windows is sketchy or I just simply do not know how to set up. Once you turn on HDR in window, everything that are in SDR turns sort of towards greenish.
I got this for my 16 in MacBook Pro and and my xbox one s and it works great on my xbox one s. For my MacBook thru USB-C I just think it what you are watching and doing. It says HDR but I have notice my my tv that is like 5 years old is a little better because that is HDR but I think its a higher...
This 27" 4K monitor has many things going for it. Colors are great (better than my 5K iMac monitor) as are images, text, and videos. The stand is well thought out and solid, and the connections in the back of the monitor (along with the cables that are supplied with it) are very handy.
There is nothing at this price and size that will give you almost that Apple brightness, sharpness and performance. Very happy with purchase. One note: Using a MacBook Pro, you'll lose Touchbar/software volume control with a USB-C cable. You need an HDMI connection to get that volume control.
4K resolution and built-in 60 watt power supply with single-cable USB-C connectivity to my MacBook 12" for charging, video and audio. Built in USB 2.1 hub with 2 ports. Decent internal speakers. Works flawlessly out of the box with my 2018 MacBook 12.
I've been using this monitor for 9 months now, and I couldn't be happier. It has great color and is extremely sharp. Setup was a breeze and I use it from 8 am til 10-11 pm regularly, and it has never let me down.My ownly criticism is the bottom mounted joystick control.

Im using the LG 27UL850-W as a 2nd monitor for my 2013 27 iMac. The display quality is very good, but not sure I can say it is huge improvement over the iMac display. Both are very good and maybe biggest difference is in color tones.
This monitor is it! The USB-C makes it perfect to charge my MacBook pro and allows me to be more productive. I have a much bigger screen to with with when doing my school work! Not only that, but it is so crisp! Everything is clear! Not to mention, when I play PS4 games, geeez. Dope monitor!
