We all know that LG is among the top three leading LCD panel manufacturers in the world and that has allowed them to release some pretty impressive gaming monitors (and LCD screens in general) but their entry level models haven’t received nearly the same amount of publicity so it was nice to see...
- 75Hz IPS LED Backlit Panel, - 5ms GTG Response Time, - Good Image Quality, - Power Consumption, - Price (For Some)
- Color Gamut (72% Adobe / 88% sRGB), - Not Ideal For Serious Gaming, - No Height/Pivot/Swivel Adjustment
This is an outstanding monitor for the price and was perfect for the game build I did for my cousin $1,500 with dual monitors RYZAN 5, 8 Gig of ram, water cooled, NZXT 440 case, Razer Naga Hex V2, Razer Ornata Keyboard, 250 Gig EVO M2 and 4 Gig 1050 video card.
Cinema preset is 6500k/warm, Gamma 2. For Text and Game, I don't know. There's a very little backlight bleed on the top-left corner on mine. Lucky me. IPS black is a very, very dark grey which is expected. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-23-16 09:07 PM
OOTB the colours are bright and vivid. Photo preset seems to be the default (6500k/warm, Gamma 1)., Pixel response time is good; middle to low overdrive (response time in menu) seems best to me., No input lag at any overdrive setting.
Wobbly stand., Comes with only VGA cable. I expected HDMI., Specs claim the panel is 8-bit AH-IPS, but I think it's 6-bit + FRC after some gradient testing. This is with VGA connection., No VESA mount
great for the price I'd even say it's a steal
great size and great looking visually
non adjustable but not that big of a deal
Good screen for my iMac mini.
A 24in.....LG.....For the price.....AWESOME!!!!!!! The monitor's display quality is great. I own a 21in LG monitor already and it's great, so I was leaning towards LG anyway. I was almost swayed by the trivial (to me anyway) negative remarks BUT I am glad I was NOT swayed because I am COMPLETELY...
Awful monitor, impossible to calibrate because the left side shows a different hue than the right side. Not sharp, either.
Works great for playing Fifa on PS4
Amazing color and bright. It puts my old monitor to shame.
This monitor produces nice images and works as expected.
Works seamlessly with my MacBook - great monitor!
