I used this monitor as an extension to my laptop screen. When I compared the sharpness of the images between the laptop and this monitor the laptop is far better. This monitor is hard to tilt as if it would brake the plastic components when pushing backward or forward.
I needed another monitor for virtual teaching. I am on a budget and decided to give this one a try. I am so happy I did! It is perfect for my needs and I use it daily. I use it to enlarge my Zoom screen so I can see all of my students while I share my computer screen during live instruction.
I used this monitor for work so it does what I needed it to do.
The color definition is great to totally worth the price. Be aware that these have HDMI cords, not USB, so you'll need to make sure that whatever you're connecting the screens to is set up with HDMI ports or you purchase a converter.
So far, for the price of this monitor, it is good and display is nice.Only issue is that this monitor does not have any speakers (It mentions this in the description). So if you use a HDMI cable to connect to the monitor, the sound does not play on the computer.
The reading mode is awesome (it has several other modes) I bought this screen for my husband, he's working on his masters online. My husband would get headaches from being on the computer so long, but not with this monitor. His eyes don't get tired anymore.
It's a decent monitor. I am not sure you can beat if for the price. The stand does not move in any direction so if you want a stand that has some ability to change the angle of the screen you will not want this. It took time to adjust it to get it to look good.
The unit works and looks OK but the Instruction Manual doesn't really help. It is written very small and not helpful at all. You have to figure out for yourself how to use the small knob hidden at the bottom to get it to do anything.Going to LG's website is even less helpful.
This is a good, no-fills monitor. I'd recommend it for anyone who doesn't need high-end performance, which is probably most people. My only complaint is that the stand is of poor quality. The slightest bump of my desk causes the monitor to wobble side-to-side (and yes, I've checked the screws).
The screen is crystal clear, smooth 75 frames per second (when enabled by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting Display Options, selecting Advanced Display Options, and then clicking on the drop-down menu under Refresh Rate and selecting 75.000 Hz.) Tiltable display is convenient.
