I needed a second monitor for my home office. I have limited space, so I was looking for something not too pricey in the 22 to 24 inch range. For the price, this LG monitor works for me. Adjusting the brightness, and color temperature after initial set up solved many of issues that others have.
Great monitor, for those having freesynce issues or unable to select 75htz, you have to make sure you have a new enough HDMI revision to get both. With my AMD RX 580 HDMI will give you 75htz but no freesynce (not a new enough HDMI revision) DVI to HDMI adatpter will only give you 60htz at 1080 and...
I procured this monitor on a hunch that it would work with my new Amiga (Apollo Accelerators' Vampire V4 StandAlone). This was a bit of a gamble since many of the video modes required are either old or not exactly standard. This display has handled everything that my Amiga has thrown at it.
I love how lightweight and yet solid it is. However if you ever looked at a quality monitor before, you won’t be able to look at this one for more than 3 sec. the default profile is WAY TOO GREENISH. I calibrated it and it helps a ton, but still it’s miles away from a proper display.
Monitor frequently times out with inactivity and then will not resume without extra steps. Either unplugging and plugging back in, switching monitor selection to secondary screen then back to extended view, or unplugging and plugging in HDMI cable.
This was a gift for our grandson who uses it as a second screen for his homework. Easy to install and comfortable for his eyes.
I bought two of them one year apart and both of them suffered the same issue: they hop between normal colors and a weird low contrast washed out look. The first one worked fine for about a year and suddenly started doing this, and the second one had the issue out of the box.
Did have bit trouble since one i wish they put on any option for the menu, like if on VEGA then let us have option on what video input let us have that option to have it able except going through VEGA full out put then have to switch it to HDMI.
Looks pretty good. Wish it had speakers but I knew it didn't upon purchasing. But it works as advertised and he and I are happy with how it looks.
I've had this screen for a little while now and the picture and quality seems great!
