The Klipsch RSB-8 not only packs a long list of features into its midprice sound bar/wireless sub system, it also sounds terrific.
The Klipsch RSB-8 is a stereo sound bar with a wireless subwoofer which offers excellent movie sound and capable music reproduction. The addition of 4K HDMI pass-through and music streaming makes the system more flexible than previous Klipsch sound bars.
DTS Play-Fi is finnicky to set up and use at times and adds $100 to the cost over the cheaper RSB-6. Other sound bars at the same price can offer true surround sound.
Great sound quality. I have not used some of the "extended" features such as direct link to my phone or Play-Fi, but that's not what I bought it for.One minor note: I think the sub-woofer and sound bar were already paired out of the box, but since the instructions provided pairing instructions I...
This is an excellent setup, especially given the price. Sure, it's not cheap, but it's not overpriced compared to the competition. (And, if you want a bigger impact, they also put out the RSB-11 and RSB-14.
Great sound. Fills the room. Love being able to add wireless speakers.
Great sound - crystal clear
Love this product. Clear crisp sound
##### MY SETUP ##### I acquired the Klipsch RSB-8 for my game room. It’s paired with an Epson Home Cinema 2040 projector. The soundbar sits on an entertainment center (so I didn’t wall mount it).
The installation went smoothly, but the remote controller is difficult to use. It uses simple button switches to control volume and other functions, which at times are unresponsive. I installed a new battery, which helped, but still revealed the weakness of this system.
This is a very decent speaker with solid sound both in the treble and bass range but that I personally found a little tricky to set up, though this may have been because I had a somewhat older television. Well, not that old. A 46 inch high def Samsun flatscreen.
The RSB-8 for me is an upgrade from a Sony soundbar/subwoofer combo that I have been using with my Sony Bravia TV. My old system was about half the price point at retail as this model from Klipsch.
The Klipsch RSB-8 is a great companion to my HDTV. Not only is it a vast improvement over my TV’s built in speakers, it gives basic 5.1 surround sound systems a run for their money.
The Klipsch Reference RSB-8 sound bar with wireless subwoofer gives your living room a home theater sound! Huge! Easy to set up and use, I had no problem with the Bluetooth connectivity.
