Klipsch has the highest sound pressure in the test. But the soundbar disappoints on sound quality.

  • +

When it comes to sound pressure, Klipsch is in a separate class, The user-friendliness of the Play-Fi multi-room is very good.

  • -

The sound quality does not measure up.

I expected something better than the previous version but not a huge improvement. Clarity is just so so.

(Little background) 8 years ago I sold my Klipsch Reference speakers in an effort to remove some of the "bulk" from our Living room. Over the years I had tried 2 Vizio 5.1 soundbars systems and a Sony 5.1 soundbar.

For being just a soundbar and not 7.1, this sounds incredible. I used to have an Onkyo and this far blows that one away. No complaints over one year later.

Have had for less than one year -- subwoofer no longer works. Won't even turn on . Getting help through Klipsch is a very sad joke...I must admit while it worked it was pretty good although subwoofer wasn't that great in so far as sound.

A friend of mine bought this, but as an owner of numerous Klipsch products in the past and currently, I thought I'd chime in. I didn't set this up so I can't comment on ease of installation and setup, but regarding sound, this is really good for a soundbar.

I give this suround bar system 5 stars because of a combination of factors. First, the initial setup is very simple. In my case, I have a 51" TV that is mounted on an articulated arm above a wide dresser in my bedroom. I use a very high end Android Tv/game system to stream IPTV/Kodi TV.

Terrible. DO NOT BUY! Klipsch is a great speaker company but are incompetent with the Play-fi system. Buy the RSB-11 instead. The upgrade to this model is worthless. Just light a couple hundred bucks on fire and save your time.

I replaced a 20 year old infinity 5.1 surround system with this sound bar and sub… It actually sounds better than my old $10,000 system… Wifi music is better than playing a CD… TV shows and movies are superb… It is incredible!

@Magician (post from November 2016) The iPhone App clearly DOES exist and I’ve provided screenshots to offer clarity. I’ll start by saying the sound quality is ‘off the charts’ —an exceptional product.
