It has been a while since Audioholics ha s reviewed a Klipsch product, and we thought that their refresh of the Reference Premier line would be an ideal time to take a look at what Klipsch has been up to in the loudspeaker world. Today, we take a look at the RP-8000F floor-standing speaker.

+
Neutral, accurate response, Nicely controlled dispersion, Wide dynamic range, Above average sensitivity, Copper tones on gloss black is very slick looking

-
Listed 98dB/2.83v/1m sensitivity spec does not give context (non-anechoic)

These speakers are fantastic. They are huge and the Reference Premier series looks far better than the lesser Reference Series - Way Cleaner. Paired with my RP-450 Center and decent Reference 51 surrounds and an older Klipsch 12" sub it adds up to a movie theater experience.
-
+
Clean Appearance, Clear at High Volume, Dynamic Sound, strong lows

I was looking for a large pair of floor standing speakers. I wanted them to be loud, wide sound stage, and have a slight 'U' curve to the sound (higher mid bass, lower mid range, higher treble.) I was recommended a lot of different speakers on a particular forum, but someone recommended these.

Can play heavy metal like no other speaker canInsane clarityVery loudGreat soundstage

Very happy with the natural sound of the Klipsch RP-8000F speakers. They compliment the living room decor, fit perfectly, and did I mention they sound great. Natural highs and lows. I wouldn't expect anything less from Klipsch. A great companion for my Pioneer SX-650. Very efficient speakers.

I've had a variety of infinity home speakers throughout the past 20+ years and I couldn't resist the looks of these copper woofers and horns so I gave them a try and they are fantastic! I am very happy that I have a new favorite brand of speakers and will continue to buy Klipsch from now on!

Great set of speakers, amazing separation and depth. I'm hearing elements to songs I never heard before. Acoustic guitars parts sound like they are playing in your room. They can be a hair bright at times, nothing I found off-putting.

Great separation, great depth, awesome high-end, solid bass - no need for a sub unless you really want to shake the windows
-
-
Just a bit bright under limited circumstances

Replaced Klipsch KG3 bought in 1990 with Klipsch RP 800. The KG3's still going strong after 29 years treated myself to an upgrade. If you want quality, durability and great sound buy Klipsch.

Replaced pair of R28s with these and they sound incredible bass is almost double Yes you still need a pair of subs if you really want top shelf experience I see many buy big sub and over drive it trying to reach the SPL they want buy two run them about half their full output they will have much less...

Love these speakers!! I think they are one of the prettiest looking on the market. They really pack a punch also with their four 8" woofers, shaking all the pictures on my wall and my upstairs floor. I'll have to get some foam blocks to sit them on maybe that will help.

Looks and sound exceeded my expectation.

-
A little large if space is an issue.

I bought this speaker to replace B&W 683 s2 towers which I owned for a year. While that speaker was good, this speaker blows them away. These have life to them! The B&Ws are a bit clinical sounding, which to my ears is not what music actually sounds like at all.

Looks, Stance

I had the R-28f and they sounded great. I had updated them to the RP-8000f's figuring if the R-28f's sounded great the RP-8000f's would sound even better and they sure do, especially with the highs, very crisp but not overly bright. Very happy with these speakers.

Sound great. To me. No sub needed.
