I am a Klipsch fan and still have a set of floor speaker I purchased back in the 80s when everyone was buying Bose speakers. I liked the extra base they had and still do. So when I started looking at subwoofers to complete my surround system I started with Klipsch and obviously ended there too.
Resisted getting a subwoofer because I wanted to depend on good speakers & amp. But everybody in the family is very happy we finally got it about a year ago on sale. Made the sound MUCH better. Its controls are effective to get the impact, volume and dynamic range that you want.
I have this sub connected to a Martin Logan wireless sub transmitter and receiver. This sub is so accurate. I have the older version of this subwoofer and both blow me away with the clean, powerful bass they throw. Awesome value for the money. I big footprint but we have the space.
I've had one of these bad boys for some time now. When I moved around my home theater around, I had room for a second one. Glad they still had the same model I had since they came out with a newer build. Bass sounds so much better and fuller with two woofers.
Purchased this sub 6 months ago and it has performed flawlessly the adjust for how much of the sound do you want it to include is great for adjusting between bluray, satellite, music etc is a wonderful option it sounds as close to perfect as you can get with this size speaker it is more than enough...
The hype is real! Thunderous bass seem limitless. Outstanding lows that really bring an action movie to life! Great addition!
I've got the Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer in a 5.1.4 Atmos setup with my very musical B&W CDM-1SE's as fronts and rears. The CDM-1SE's needed some oomph for HT and R-12SW delivers. Accuracy for HT is fine, and the price was great on sale.
My old KSW-12 developed a problem with its power supply (kept blowing fuses), so I thought it was time to upgrade. Just got this one the other day and tested it for the first time last night with "Avengers: Infinity War" and we were not disappointed.
I was replacing a 10 inch pioneer that started to have a slight hum. That was 8 years old. I have a large room and it fills the room, you can cause a vibration if you crank it a bit. Good rich sound. For this price I don't think you can go wrong.
A fantastic subwoofer. It really puts out some sound. If you catch it on sale it's a steal like half the price it is now Looks oh so nice too with the copper cone. Really a nice addition to any home theater. Makes your music bump brings movies to life.
