Buy it you won't regret it!
Literally the best appliance I own. I find myself & my husband using this fridge more than our normal one. We have it in our island and it's so convenient just grab things from there and set up our meal! hopefully kitchenaid keeps making great things - Their hand crank can opener is AMAZING too

Pick something else
We have this in a bar - thought it would be great for Beer on top and Ice for cocktails on the bottom. A traditional under counter fridge would have been MUCH better.
Ice maker doesn't work properly and never has. We have turned off the icemaker but the freezer drawer freeses itself shut and we need to thaw the unit every 2 months or so which means taking everything out of the unit and finding another place for it. When opening the frozen drawer, ice chunks from the bottom of the unit (not the turned off ice maker) fly all over the floor, it's a total mess. Water is clearly leaking and collecting at the bottom of the unit. You'll need to dig the ice out of the channels at the bottom so the fridge will close again.

Icemaker requires button push to stop making ice
They sent out a Whirlpool/Kitchenaid repairman today and he confirmed that only a manual push of a button on the led will stop the icemaker from making too much ice and falling out of the bin. They give you a bail arm
which does that automatically in most models but not this one, it has no function. So you must continuously watch the ice bin otherwise the ice builds up and falls out onto the floor. It can't be fixed or replace. Beware
