Bad customer service
If you look at their responses to customer reviews, they give the reviewer a case number and write something as if it will help the customer. Don't be fooled by this.
If I contact KitchenAid again with the case number, etc., they only bother me by asking for all the information like the first time I reported the problem, and the final answer is the same as the one they gave me when I first suggested it.
Just a waste of time and energy
After 5 months of using it (I'm not a chef and I use the stovetop for about 15 minutes a day), they take no responsibility for their product and the customer's inconvenience and say that the warranty does not cover it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kitchenaid range is a very well built piece of appliance. My wife loves the speed of the induction cooktop and range. We replaced all of our kitchen appliances with Kitchenaid, including the dish washer. My wife has been a chef for the past 20 years and she rate these appliances as some of the best she’s cooked on. The air fryer is an amazing feature on the range. The dishes are super clean and it is amongst the quiet dishwasher we’ve ever used. Calling in to register the items was fast and a breeze. Five stars and two thumbs up for these appliances.

Will break down quickly
I have this same model and after only 2 years, 10 months the oven has stopped working. I would not recommend buying this product unless you are planning to move away and leave this ready to fail product to the next occupant. Kitchen Aid, when it was a subsidiary of Hobart. had great products. Now that they are under the umbrella of Whirlpool quality is horrible. Another example, I bought a K45SS stand mixer in 1981 and it lasted 35 years of heavy use. When it finally died, I bout the same model in 2019 and it lasted just 13 months. You can fool me once, maybe twice, but I will never consider or purchase another Kitchen Aid product.

Kitchenaid Induction Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's early yet, but I really like a number of things about the induction range. The speed at which I can cook on the stove top is fantastic. It feels like i can cook rice in half the time. It boils water for pasta so much faster than a radiant heating element. The oven heats up in half the time as my old range. Probably most new ranges would do that as my old range was 24 years old. I like the controls. Its nice to be able to just wipe across them to clean up as opposed to having to deal with dials and such. The oven is really big as well, will fit a much bigger turkey than the last.

Do not buy, the oven is NOT self cleaning.
I bought this stove in September to replace a dual fuel one that I loved. This one is not good. The hob works very well but the oven is terrible. The temperature is inaccurate, it takes ages to heat up and it it NOT self clean. OK you can clean the the bottom with the water clean, but the racks and the rest have to cleaned by hand. A great disappointment. I am in my seventies and getting down on my hands and knees to clean the oven is not easy! I do a lot of cooking and my old convection oven was great. I am replacing this one with another company's model at great expense.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the front controls for the oven and stove top, no longer have to reach over foods already cooking. Love that the oven door does not have lovers at the top like most ovens, no chance of fluids inadvertently getting inside the oven door requiring the door being dismantled to clean. Great oven rack options especially the one on bearings which is ideal when using heavy cast iron cookware. We had induction cooking on two of the four burners on our last oven top and were very happy with its operation, this stove top has induction for all burners and it heats extremely fast.

Love the induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using mine. Love the induction cooktop but don’t like where they put the controls for the oven. If you are a messy cook like me things get spilled on it. Because it is recessed in the stainless panel it is hard to clean. I also don’t like how hot the front of this panel gets when the oven is on. I do love the way it looks ! I haven’t been able to use all the functions of the oven. I’m not a big cooker so I mainly purchased it to get rid of my dirty gas range when I decided to renovate the kitchen. Love the way the new cook top looks with the new countertop. I already had a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and wanted everything to match.

Modern Technology in a Range?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my initial purchase, I was not fully aware of all of the capability features. After I finally had the opportunity to connect it, I discovered the inability to NOT be able to utilize the majority of my cookware, simply due to their nonmagnetic composition! As it turns out, I have enough remaining cookware to prepare anything that I want, and I like many of the safety features (honestly it will take me a lot of time to truly understand most of the operational procedures). if it means anything at all, I investigate everything that I spend my hard earned money on, and what I purchased made it near the top of the list.
