What a disappointment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within 30 days it was freezing water on the top shelf literally and Whirlpool treated me like crap. They wouldn’t change the refrigerator. They sent a technician with new parts and it still didn’t fix the issue.
It is amazing that Whirlpool treats the customers with complete disrespect. They should’ve replaced the refrigerator not replace the parts. Let’s build and fix the problem.
My first called Whirlpool to tell about the problem, the person on the phone said it’s a common problem. So they know about it they just won’t do the right thing.
Don’t buy from Whirlpool buy something else.

Very Noisy!!
We have had this refrigerator since July and it's one of the loudest appliances I have ever experienced. It literally has us going in search of a noise. Sometimes it sounds like an animal scratching trying to get out (assuming it's the defrost in the freezer), and sometimes it sounds like a lawn mower, a jet plane taking off, or the old dial up to AOL. My mom visiting kept commenting that a phone was ringing... If it were just one noise, we'd probably adapt. Not sure if anything can be done. I wanted the rest of the package, but I'm unsure of the quality now. Besides all the noises, it's beautiful, and spacious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality throughout. The movement of the doors and drawers is strong and not flimsy. Everything is being cooled, chilled and maintained properly. The ice maker works great and does not take up a ton of room. The freezer holds a lot of food is is designed to be be very organized and visible. This fridge is very quiet considering it’s size. The only thing we have not figured out is the proper placement and pressure of the water lever. It takes us multiple tries to fill a large glass. Other than that, we are very happy and hope it lasts many, many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because we owned one previously and just loved the layout, ample storage drawers and bins, and ease of finding everything. Bought a new house which came with a different brand side-by-side and absolutely hated how cramped and invisible everything seemed as well as noisy! Bought this when there was a good sale and we knew already the quality and careful designing that went into this fridge. It feels so much better having appliances that you love in your home-sweet-home. Beautiful and functional. My only complaint would be the limiting light in the freezer but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.

Loud water dispenser
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago and after installing the water dispenser and flushing it, it still makes a loud noise when dispensing water. Our family uses a lot of water from the refrigerator for drinking and cooking so this is a big disappointment that this is so loud. I can even hear this from the other end of our house. I’ve tried reinstalling the filter and even purchasing a new filter, and after the initial flush, we have the same loud noise. The other features of the refrigerator have been operating as intended and there is ample room for all of our food.

“Talking” Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with the quality of the refrigerator, but it makes some quirky noises. After each time the door opens then closes, you hear the sound of a dial tone, similar to a telephone sound. It also makes strange clicking and knocking noises off and on during the day.even when not in use. I’m adjusting to the overall interior layout of the shelves, but that is to be expected with any new appliance. Other than these observations, it’s a beautiful refrigerator and looks and runs well. We love the ice and water dispenser on the door. It’s quiet, lights up and even counts the ounces dispensed!

Terrible experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having issues with condensation building up in freezer area. Putting silicone on a four thousand dollar refrigerator to repair it. Totally unacceptable for me, when spending that much on a refrigerator. Kitchen aid would not do a buy back because it was past the 48hr mark. This was also a second replacement on the fridge for the same problem. So kitchen aid very aware of defect on this model. I will never buy another kitchen aid. I will be sure to spread the word on my experience with kitchen aid. Pictures were provided to kitchen aid with the condensation build up.

Smart design on shelving system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our new KitchenAid 26.8 Cu Ft refrigerator for a couple of months now. What impresses me most about this fridge is the smart design of the shelving system and the resulting storage capacity. The fridge also looks elegant with the stainless steel and French doors. There is a slide out tray to provide access to everything without having to reach into the back of the fridge. We love the wide and spacious deli drawer. All of the doors shelves are adjustable so you can decide where you want extra space for taller items. The freezer is on the bottom and offers more sliding trays with plenty of room to keep your food frozen and even has a frozen pizza section. Finally, the fridge operation doesn't produce much noise. Overall, we are really happy with this fridge so far.
