Also, the open/close button has to be pushed very hard and that's annoying for my kids who have to ask me for help to microwave things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently remodeled my kitchen and bought 3 Kitchen Aid appliances, an oven, a cooktop, and a microwave. I am extremely unhappy with the microwave. It has an extremely loud obnoxious beeping that cannot be disabled nor made quieter.

I bought this microwave with a trim kit to fit a built in space. Nice look and features, and it cooks quite effectively. It failed on the most important aspect however: Reliability. After 2 years the main control panel went out. Any other microwave I've owned lasted MANY times longer than this one.
