We purchased the KEBS279BSS on March 7 of 2014 and had it delivered and installed May 2015 as part of a kitchen remodel. In mid March 2015 after using the self cleaning feature on the top oven the convection fan would make a louder than usual noise when running during the bake cycle.
I am now on my third oven KEBS279BSS in a year. Kitchen Aid has admitted back in April 2013 that there was a problem with the electronics and they expected a fix once it got out of litigation. They have provided new electronic boards and new ovens and it still does not work.
