Korg surprised us with the release of the polyphonic Minilogue, but now the Mini has a Mono brother, the Korg Monologue, which is even more pint-sized and colourful! Dave Gale powers one up to see how life in mono compares…

This synthesizer has a marvelous filter compared to its price. Low ends with resonance are quite clear. I can achieve many different sounds with this according to my taste. It has some wave type limitations of course, but thats reasonable for the price tag.

Same layout as an old Realistic MG-1 I used to have, so I was quite pleased. Sounds amazing. There's lots of extra functionality buried in the firmware, be sure to get the detailed owners manual from Korg's website to unlock the secrets.

As someone who grew up with analog synths I love the layout. The digital assisted layer makes it a dream to use. Plus the physical design is just beautiful even if you're just using it as a MIDI controller.

I'm an electronic musician and I LOVE my Monologue! It screams, it bellows, it whispers, it grunts, it can be pretty, it can be quite ugly...well, you get the picture. There's nothing on the market quite like it! Value For Money - off the charts!
