The Monologue may be a cut-down version of the Minilogue, but it offers a few features its polyphonic big brother can’t match.
The korg monologue is absolutely fantastic, multiple presets and sequences help to get the creative process started straight away. There are also user preset spaces that you can save your own sounds in to. The build quality is amazing for the price.
Great piece of kit for a beginner like me, however I reckon I'm only scratching the surface!
As someone who grew up with analog synths I love the layout. The digital assisted layer makes it a dream to use. Plus the physical design is just beautiful even if you're just using it as a MIDI controller.

This Monologue is just great fun. There are always a couple of things where you think... if only it had this... but for the money I think it is the best of the mono synths out there. The difference is the immediacy of the sequencer.

Made seriously well, great solid feel to the controls. Sounds are varied from gnarly to soft, useful added sync and ringmod.
