Korg’s MicroKorg is the world’s best-selling synth, and the 2002 hit that shows no signs of fading away. Despite the release of the MicroKorg XL (with its superior synthesis but subdued retro interface), Korg have reverted to the model that started it all, bringing it up to date with a stylish white...
The microKORG is so very versatile, integration into any set up is simple and full of satisfaction. I use the microKorg as an integral piece in my Recording Studio, MPC/APC Production Station and my DJ System as well. So, I have two of these and a third available for my use any time.
The vocoder is extremely easy to use, but, the coolest thing about the microKORG is just how versatile it is. The sounds that come out of it range from Church Organs to Daft Punk. It's also got MIDI capabilities as well. I use this for live shows and it brings the house down.
I can't believe how much power and potential is packed into this machine. Knowing that you can tweak and edit 128 individual sounds infinite ways (seriously, the combinations are only limited by what you stop at) was the biggest draw to this.
I bought this keyboard for my husband who was wanting one for soooo long. He absolutely loves it and spends hours upon hours making music. It has great sound and easy easy to use if you are not too familiar with synth machines. great all around value!!
very easy to find and change sounds easy to operate small compact easy to link to other technology
I've had this synthesizer for a little less than a year now, but have owned the original Microkorg since 2010 or so. Man! This thing is pumped with all the improvements you wish you had in the original Minikorg!
Pros: TOO MANY Cons: small keyboard.. The Bottom Line: if you want to PLAY with UNLIMITED sounds, BUY IT. but be patient.. this is not another casio toy. this is based on ANALOG synths of many decades ago, and it is POLY, which means you can press many keys at once to play chords, it is not a mono...
I bought this for my son who has finished high school and is now entering college as a music major. He writes some pretty incredible songs using this synth for effects. He's very happy with it.
What a great synth, couldnt be happier with the sound
