Works great. Solid construction and the spring loaded holder fits several phone sizes. I'm using to turn an old iPhone into a security camera. Very stable.
I got this to do some basic capture for when I'm out riding mountain bikes and making 'sick edits' of me bumbling through a trail. The ball head on it is a good balance of rigid and moveable, keeping the phone in place once set but still able to modify the position.
This worked great as a small tripod and gripped onto other surfaces when a flat surface wasn't available. Folds small and is very portable.
Grips large iPhone 8+ well. Hasn’t fell out of holder or fell off of vent louvre. I inductively charge cell phone and the back of phone has to be clean and flat
The main clip that clips onto your vent is a little loose, but that is easily remedied by placing a piece of paper or anything thick to tighten the grip. The vents are more of a problem if they swing easily. The design is great as I can swivel it in any direction I want.
