The guitar boasts a sleek offset poplar body. Poplar is a softer wood that offers a meaty, resonant tone with a distinguished upper midrange tone quite similar to alder. It features bolt-on Maple neck that provides a rock-solid foundation, while the 12-16-inch compound radius bound Amaranth fingerboard allows for easy chording and fret-out free soloing. 22 jumbo frets and Jackson’s meticulously carved neck heel instead of a neck plate to provide unfettered access to the highest registers.
