JBL's Xtreme 3 speaker delivers robust bass depth in a rugged, waterproof build ideal for outdoor gatherings.

Powerful, bass-forward audio with four drivers and dual passive radiators, Outdoor-friendly waterproof build, Can be linked with multiple JBL speakers

Expensive, No speakerphone function
This new speaker from JBL matches the RRP of its predecessor yet features enhanced drivers and bass radiators. These are added to achieve a more immersive and bigger stereo sound performance. It has an IP67 rating that’s higher compared to that of the Xtreme 2’s IPX7.
It’s time for another JBL wireless speaker showdown with this episode honing in on the JBL Charge 3 vs JBL Xtreme. Which speaker is better for you?

Durable and surprisingly loud, great for outdoor use.

A little oddly designed for something to use around the house.
JBL Xtreme 3 is that perfect portable speaker for an outdoor picnic or party where you need a big sound that does not distort at high volume. Its IP67 rating also means that it is safe to carry the Xtreme 3 anywhere, anytime. Plus, you can even use the speaker to charge your phone while at it.
You might assume the JBL Xtreme 3 is a crude bass-heavy party speaker from its look and name, but it's surprisingly refined. It's a great option if the idea of multi-room audio and digital assistant support leaves you cold.

Great sound quality, Deeper bass than the Xtreme 2, Highly portable despite substantial size
-
-
Almost no smart features, Sound isn't quite as measured as the Xtreme 2's
When it comes to technical performance you can absolutely take this party-lover seriously – even when it’s opening your beer.

Fantastic sound quality with a rugged design - this speaker is waterproof and can withstand dirt and dust so will be good to use outside. Extra features include smartphone charging, PartyBoost to pair two speakers together and even a bottle opener.

15 hours of battery life, Loud, punchy sound, Waterproof and dustproof

A bit awkward to carry, No speakerphone like in the JBL Xtreme 2, The app is a bit pointless
the speaker ended up being a bit bigger than I expected and it is very high quality. I recommend this speaker for anyone who has a flip 5 or any other small JBL speaker and wants something louder.
I checked out some other brands for comparison before making my decision to try the Extreme3. In the end it won out for me. It was close but the waterproof & dustproof features helped sway me. The sound is awesome for it's size & you can take it anywhere. I use it indoors & out.
The speaker sounds great for its size. It is relatively compact and the strap will be great for freezing my up my hands as we lug items across the beach. The Bluetooth works well and the unit seems to have a sturdy build.
JBL Xtreme 3I just got The New JBL Xtreme 3 SpeakerI really like this speaker, the way it looks and even betterthe way it sounds... Looks : I am impressed by the way that the new JBL logoLooks in front of it , a well done logo....
Jbl extreme 3 is an improvement from the jbl extreme 2. The only issues I have noticed are that, one, the battery life of the JBL extreme 3 doesn't last as much as the extreme 2 and lastly, there is no enough bass at max volume. Overall, the speaker is worth the money you pay for.
Great sound. Built solid. This thing jams. Sounds deeper and fuller than the Xtr2.

A bit heavy
Received this a little over a week ago and have been putting it thru the test.Sound quality is good but lacking the bass found in speakers of this price range.Out the box, I was disappointed with the speaker, but after a full charge, I was surprised at the quality and the sound, minus the bass.
Almost every review I watched on YouTube told my to buy one of the different jbl speakers for around the same price, if your your looking for a long lasting speaker, with surround sound punch you've found it.
easy to set up.sound is very good at low and high volumes. If extra volume is needed, the jbl xtreme 3 has it.
This is my third portable Bluetooth speaker and the second from JBL (the other being the JBL Link 500). I am very impressed by the Xtreme 3 with its quality of sound, versatility, utility, convenience, and ruggedness.
