Development work on JBL’s flagship M2 monitor resulted in the Image Control Waveguide – and JBL has chosen to use it on the more affordable 3 Series designs. The series includes two models, the LSR305 and LSR308. Huw Price checks them out.

Using the speaker (pair) as additional sound source for a Johannus Opus 270 digital organ. Great organ and the external JBL's re-enforce the sound.

I purchased these speakers in October of 2015. They have worked and sounded quite good until today. One of the speakers will not even power on now. Nothing has changed in my setup. Sucks!

I wanted to get into some studio monitors that didn't break the bank but served its purpose for use for recordings as well as practicing music. These arrived, were very easy to set up and work very well. They allow me to hear basslines easier and pick out notes since most of the time I play by ear.

Great response at low levels and quite powerful at the high end. The added control dial makes it ideal for controlling from desktop or workspace. If you want to run an input from your favorite music player you have that option as well.

I was looking for "decent" powered monitors for my home satellite studio so I could do some needed edits at home as well. I looked at a few ideas but then Nick turned me onto these new ones from JBL. Perfect, and way more solid than I expected.

These have amazing right low end. Great clarity at high volumes...totally worth the money

I have limited space in my tracking studio so downsizing from LSR308's gave me a little more elbow room and allowed me to move my 308's to my mixing and mastering workstation. The sound quality is more than adequate for playing back recorded tracks.
