Have used many different speakers over the years. I play small gigs. Vocals, accoustic guitar. These speakers deliver the goods. Great highs, super lows. I can only imagine how good the twelves and fifteens are. Dont waste time with Mackies or Behringers.
These speakers added a lot on my DJ performances. I did spin in a outdoor venue, by the beach for an audience of 75-100 and it worked pretty well.
I had been using two Carvin LS2 15" speakers as our main PA. I wanted to get rid of the power amp and switch to powered speakers. I've been researching these for a few months, and decided the JBL EON610s were the way to go.
I have a JBL PRX powered system for my mains. Getting JBL PRX series speakers to use as monitors would have been major overkill so I bought these instead. They're amazingly lightweight and have way more power than I will ever need.
Amazing speaker. I play a solo acoustic gig 3 times a week playing background dinner music., tried many combinations of alto powered, carvin passive, fender acoustisonic, fishman loudbox but with the JBL Eon 610 paired with a wet reverb in my mixer's effect loop playing a Martin d-18 with Martin...
Very good speaker for what I use it. I'm a piano bar singer. I play and sing and the vocal capabilities are great as it hits ask the ranges. It's light weight and very portable and it's compact size really makes it versatile. Not a massive power speaker for big parties but very good for what it is.
I bought two to replace JBL Cabaret Series workhorses from the Eighties. Plenty of power for full keyboards and guitar as my personal stage monitors. Sound fine and the 10's have plenty of punch. These push a lot of air. My B3 sounds are terrifying.
Has a vibration noise when playing bass
A couple of good things Light weight speakers easy to travel with, I have them for 4 months now used them once a month only I think for the price I paid same commaybe the size, maybe the quality, but it is right the gentleman who said that, I spected better quality from JBL but not at all just more...
NOPE NOPE NOPE. expected a lot better sound, and then it crapped out (blown tweeter) after about a week. Sound mught be acceptable in a loud band setting where vocals are not important, but for what I do - vocals and Martin acoustic through a mixer into this - it just sounds flat and lifeless.
