The JBL E55BT are a great affordable option for those who want warm, balanced sound, long-term comfort, and simple looks. There aren’t many headphones at this low price point that offer the same blend of sound, looks, and functionality, especially with over-ear design.

Mediocre passive noise isolation
JBL's E55BT headphones deliver a high-quality Bluetooth experience with rich, boosted bass response matched by crisp highs.

Powerful audio performance with strong bass and crisp highs. Exceptionally comfortable, even during long listening sessions. Includes cable for wired, passive listening.

No included carrying case or pouch. Sculpted sound signature not for purists.
So, what’s my bottom line here? The JBL E55BT headphones are some nice headphones. The sound is great, not overly bass-boosted. This allows me to listen to all my music from classical to punk and all in between.

The JBL E55BT Quincy Edition Headphones are not perfect, but they are a great pair of headphones for the price. Between their excellent sound quality, attractive design, solid comfort and great battery life, they are absolutely worthy of the Quincy Jones name.

Excellent balanced audio, superb battery life, well-priced, headphones charge up quickly, comes with a cable for when the battery runs out, attractive and lightweight, quality build

Earcup fit is comfy but also an awkward fit, call quality is not the greatest, can’t charge the headphones and use them at the same time
As you can see, the headphones fold flat for travel

Incredibly light and comfortable enough to wear all day; Headphones are stylish without being too flashy; Fold flat for travel and storage; Up to 20 hours playback; Connect up to two devices for easy switching back and forth between sources; Great for vocal heavy music

If you prefer a more bass-heavy tuning, then these may not be the headphones for you
Audio Technica has released a slew of new cans and I’m happy to get a chance to take a listen. This time, I’m taking a look at their new, affordable wireless can, the ATH-SR6BT. It goes for $150, which is right in line with a popular headphone by JBL, the E55BT.
I love headphones. I love how personal they are. That you can listen to your own music, videos, or games without disturbing other people and the same goes in reverse. I have kids who are constantly listening to music and videos and most of the time, I don’t want to listen to any of that and when...
I do highly recommend these JBL E55BT Quincy Edition headphones. For the price, they are fantastic. They come with a nice pouch, audio cable, and USB charging cable. The only drawback is that they are rated at 20 hours per charge, but I have only achieved about 15 hours before they need to be...
The JBL E55BT has many strengths. In terms of design, thoughtful features make it highly portable, even if the build itself could have used less plastic to feel sturdier. Audio performance will displease only pure audiophiles – the warm sound signature from the dynamic drivers doesn’t sacrifice...

Slightly suffocating, Audio leak
I bought them about six months ago and I have been extremely happy with them. The battery life is very good and the controls are easy to use, the cushioned earpads are comfortable and the sound quality is very good, made better by the over-ear design. Overall, the best headphones I have ever bought.
I spent countless hours reading over the reviews of headphones in this price range for our 17 year old daughter. She's very, very particular about having an over the ear model that is really comfortable.
Great headphones..love the color. Sound quality is excellent for all different genres of music..mids and highs are not muffled like a lot of BT headphones.

Plastic, feel somewhat cheap
Well at first I have to confess that I'm casual user of the headphones and I'm not an audiophile. I really like the sound. It's great. Bluetooth connection is like with flip 3 - without problems. What I find as a problem is creaking or groanching of plastic.
Just received my wireless headphones today and there is a lot of static in the left side and then it fades out so I’m only hearing music on the right side!! Sending them back today....
These headphones have a nice neutral sound. They play sufficiently loud and the sound is clean. I like bass, and I wish the thump was a little heavier, but some of the xtra bass cans had no high end so I think the trade off is well worth it. I would recommend them.
These are comfortable headphones that I think are perfect for late night TV viewing. These are not what I could call true audiophile drivers, but the sound is clear, not overly colored, and seems to be well balanced across the audio spectrum.
I was really amazed by the sound of these, you can get the Harmon quality. Clear highs and low bass, these are perfect wired or wireless no loss in quality. I was using the sennheiser hd20 wigged lacked in bass. The jbl's are perfect all around.
Don't buy theses headphones if your planning to use them for wireless, i have had mine for about 4 months now and they stopped charging, one night there were perfectly fine another night they just stopped, Only recommend if you were gonna use them wired.
best ever get a set and their very durable and they will last for a long time they sound great.
