JBL's Boombox 2 speaker is built for backyard parties, tailgates, and anywhere else you want to bring big Bluetooth audio.
Very powerful audio performance, with booming bass and sculpted highs, Waterproof, Can charge mobile devices
Expensive, Heavy and bulky, Sound signature not for those seeking accuracy
JBL Boombox 2 certainly has enough power to bother people in the park. It also sounds surprisingly good.
Awesome sound pressure and very good and balanced sound! Long battery life. You can pair as many as you want. IPX7 waterproof.
The bass is a bit slow, and the wireless range is mediocre.
JBL doesn’t reinvent all that much with this newer iteration of the Boombox, though did manage to change its multi-speaker connectivity and keep it friendly to water. A speaker like this was made for everything to do with being outside and makes for a perfect companion at outdoor parties.
Loud, distortion-free sound, IPX7 water-resistant, 24-hour battery life
Expensive, Missing the best Bluetooth codecs, Won’t work with original
JBL Boombox 2: Loud, bassy and rugged, the JBL Boombox 2 is a force to be reckoned with
Eye-catching, retro-inspired design, Beefy sound, especially the bass, Durable and waterproof
PartyBoost is not backwards compatible, Only one USB Type-A output
I bought this thinking I would jam out during the quarantine. About an hour in and the cops were at my door with multiple noise complaints. So yea, gonna be awesome this summer.
This is an amazing portable speaker that puts out plenty of sound for your garage or outdoor area. It's easy to use with very few extra gadgets to get confused by. Charge it, pair it with a bluetooth device & crank up the fun.

I purchased two jbl boombox 2s to have as a stereo pair for working outside or just jamming indoors. Though I would say it gets just loud enough, the low bass is borderline overpowering. It cranks out so much bass that the mids and vocals sound deeper and muddier than they should.
Excellent product. Great sound, easy function, portable.
This speaker is amazing. Definitely an outside speaker. The bass is wild, sound is great. Wish it was a little lighter but at the end of the day, I don’t care. I bought it for big sound and it delivers!.
Great sound! Paired it to my smart TV. Much better sound.I had the UE boom speakers, they were good but this blows them away. Carry it all over the house to hear my music. Got a Fantastic price also. Winner winner chicken dinner!!
Sound and versatility
So this speaker is worth every penny.. probably the best purchase I've made this year. My loved ones and I have used this literally everyday sense I've purchased it. We like bass and the mid and highs are on point.. I wanted the all black but I see why it was completely sold out everywhere.
Im going to get to the point.. this speakers rocks! OMG I cant believe my ears. I threw every genre of music at it and the speaker begged for more. Crisp high from classical music, furniture moving bass from hiphop, my body felt every beat drop of edm/trance, It was a live concert with my rock n...
This thing is huuuuge. Very comfortable carrying grip, thankfully, but it is much heavier than my last portable speaker, the Extreme 2. For good reason, though, because this thing drives some seriously bone rattling lows, and the rest of the sound keeps from being submerged under the bass like with...
Sounds greatI've seen some negative post about the bass but if you put it in a hall way or next to a wall the bass sounds really good for the size of this box I'm really happy with it for the size of it
