Installation was super simple. I purchased a subwoofer installation kit which contained everything I needed to connect the subwoofer. Initially I couldn't get the unit to turn on but realized I had forgotten to wire up the trigger wire. Operation has been flawless. Tons of bass in my VW Sportwagen.

I put it in my 2014 Infiniti QX70 which has an 11 speaker Bose system. It had a spare tire subwoofer which consists of a 5 1/4 subwoofer with a separate amplifier. Believe me when I say that I could holler louder. I have this JBL SPARE TIRE SUBWOOFER and the difference is night and day.

I went to a car audio shop asking about a powered under seat sub or powered tube to add on to my factory system and he suggested this. Great suggestion. The unit sounds great. I know it doesn't compared to high end 10's or 12's in a custom box, but it serves my purposes perfectly in my 2020 Honda...

Great bass, out of sight, no loss of trunk space

Won't complety fit inside of space saver spares. Had to cut the foam spare tire lid to make it fit.

I'm in my mid 40s. I used to fill my trunk with subs in my 20s and I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. I didn't want to lose storage space in my Outback but still wanted some low end to my sound system. Figured I'd give this a try and really wasn't expecting much.

Sounds great, stay hidden, leaves me with all my storage space.

Remote is clunky.

Awesome upgrade to a 2015 Ford Focus SE Hatchback. Have upgrade also with Kicker Components, as well as Kicker Rear door speakers. While still using the factory stereo.

This unit is perfect to improve the factory Harmon Kardon system in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The HK is advertised as 825 watts through 19 speakers. I was adequate but weak. I upgraded the main door speakers last year to Polk 6 1/2"and suddenly had clarity with weak bass.

Well worth it, for what it is it bumps hard. Beyond easy install..

Big bass . Discrete packaging

Remote wire should be on the opposite side

First off, this thing sounds incredible. It adds the perfect amount of bass to complete my stereo. It doesn't hit the lowest notes some 12"+ will hit but for the whole package of having an amp, enclosure, and sub all in one box that doesn't seem to matter as much.
