This 8" powered studio monitor is a great fit for a project or home studio. With an 8" low-frequency transducer outputting solid mids and bass, and a 1" high-frequency transducer, broadcasting clear highs, you'll benefit from balanced accurate audio for mixing, mastering and production.

Exceptional value. Tight, contained sound reproduction. Smooth integration between lows and highs. Above-average image consistency around the listening area. Detented volume control. Boundary EQ provides more attenuation choices than previous LF Trim. Input Sensitivity switch.

I can see the 308P MkIIs being popular not only in home studios but in professional production facilities that need multiple monitors for multichannel setups, as well as college production departments that have to outfit a lot of rooms.
It is said that “You are as good as the tools you work with” and I couldn’t be happier with these monitors. As a passion, I do remix work in my home studio and for the first time I am able to listen to my projects and hear amazing sounds I didn’t hear before.
I upgraded from 4 inch pioneer monitors to 8 inch JBLs and it's hard to explain how much better they sound. It's a total night and day difference and I'm excited to get the subwoofer next!

Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Intonation, Great Sound
Monitors should be neutral, of course, but good ones, these included, allow a good degree of control over just how neutral they are. Overall, I find these a bit bright, but in sum fairly balanced.

Excellent price, good range of options in matching tone to particular studio acoustics, good stereo imaging, quiet, and they can get loud.

A bit bright, but I think a little more tweaking will yield exactly what I'm looking for.
I purchased these for my little home studio but they have a BIG sound!! Very good balance. The bass is outstanding! Definitely amazing quality for the price. Hands down great studio monitors!
Great sound quality nice balance of highs midrange and lows.
I bought to produce my songs and I know I have a pair of the best monitors I could buy in its price range and even more expensive ones would not be as suitable for my needs (EDM/Urban).
Very dynamic nice sounding subwoofer with crispy sound and deep bass

Hits hard
When I turned on the system in my studio, I played a reggae track and the fullness of these MK 8's was incredible. I've only had them a couple of months but hip-hop/rap, R&B, pop, it doesn't matter They bang. Great purchase! Wish I got them sooner!!
I was definitely surprised by the quality of a JBL monitor but it has been a great investment!
I bought these a few weeks ago, and these have to be the best bang for the buck. The sound even across frequencies, bottom end is tight for a small near field, quiet operation, and light! I’m very satisfied, and would absolutely recommend!
