Struggle with deep bass at high volumes, Not as open-sounding as pricier speakers
I purchased two of the speakers several months ago for my computer, which is in a large studio bedroom. I love sound and all its high-mid-low ranges and hearing all its nuances. The typical computer speakers were not adequate for my listening preferences. These speakers have incredible sound.
What a pleasant surprise!! I was replacing a set of old Bose Companion 2 speakers, looking a more dynamic rich sound for home mixing of my music.The quality and clarity of the sounds was awesome!

Using XLR cables can make it difficult for speaker placement as the stick out a a ways.
I am so glad with my new monitor. I have been using it for arround two months and I really like it. I use it only for voiceover aplication, so I think Its reproduces a good neutral audio of my voice. I like it. I will buy more in the future. Good sounding monitor.
I actually use these as my regular PC speakers because they sound so fantastic. I'm ordering another pair to use out in my shop for music.
Clear and crisp sound! Excellent studio monitors! tight bass, but not bold which is good for recording with instruments. Heavy for their size! Seems to ve very well constructed and that would last for long time!

I would like more volume/power but don't get me wrong, the speakers sound great!
Im a sporadic recorder. Id given up on using a different 5 powered monitor because the audio quality was really disappointing. I got the JBLs and was amazed at the difference. The bass response is great which is what I was looking for.
Purchased two JBL 305P MKII studio monitors for a computer room studio, driven by external DAC and Amplifier with HI-RES flac wav source music files. I am really enjoying the outstanding high fidelity sound.
Outstanding set of monitors. Using them to mix my deep house sound tracks. would definitely recommend to others. Got these on a nice sale which made it even better.
