With a current price tag of$69.99, we think the HyperX Pulsefire Surge is priced just right for the features it brings to the table. The Pixart 3389 sensor and Omrom switches offer great performance, as we found in our general use and gaming testing.

Mice are a huge deal for gamers everywhere. Feel, comfort and performance are a must for anyone planning on getting the best out of their gaming experience. HyperX has sent us one of their new additions to the gaming mouse lineup, the Pulsefire Surge.

HyperX has been on something of a hot streak of late. The Kingston subsidiary is best known for its award-winning gaming headsets but has branched out with an array of peripherals that have, for the most part, been well received.

HyperX’s Pulsefire Surge RGB Gaming Mouse is a well-performing mid-range mouse that works for a wide variety of games. It’s bogged down a bit by the NGenuity software, but the pros far outweigh the cons.

If you are looking for a gaming mouse that has some customizability that is not overwhelming, a mouse that you can add some coloured style to match the rest of your peripherals and a mouse that is under $100 USD, then I would recommend checking out the HyperX Pulsefire Surge.

The HyperX Pulsefire Surge has had a bit of a rocky ride to shop shelves. You might have caught a brief glimpse of it earlier in the year before it was pulled due to a fault in the design of the two main click buttons coming too close together, but now it’s back, retooled and ready for action in all...

Want the Ferrari of gaming mice? HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB could be your next upgrade, find out why!

When the HyperX Pulsefire Surge came out, I was extremely hyped to try it, but I've got to say I am a bit disappointed in the overall result. HyperX put the bar really high with their other products, which is why I was expecting something spectacular, and the Surge turned out to be "decent".

Top-of-the-line sensor, Main switches rated for 50 million clicks, Excellent build quality, Safe, widely usable shape, Great-looking RGB lighting with a lot of customization options

Side buttons are heavy and mushy and have a lot of travel, CPI button is hard to actuate, Very few sensor settings available, Extremely heavyweight software, High price compared to the competition

So many gaming mice that I see focus on some kind of gimmick. Epicgear's Morpha X had interchangeable switches and sensors. The Roccat Kone Aimo had "AI-powered" RGB LED lighting. The Pulsefire Surge has none of that, and I think it's a better mouse for it.
Great gaming mouse works great i lights up all pretty like
