No Electricity, No Problem
Finding a stove with a standing pilot ignition isn't a thing anymore, but the battery operated ignition on this model works well. Converting the burners from NG to LP wasn't too bad either, the instructions are very clear. If you need something simple and reliable, I'd go with this.
Just a note, the LP bypass screw, and LP pilot screw were missing from the conversion kit that was included with the unit. I called GE and spoke with a real human (Evelena J. from Tennessee), and she was very kind, gracious, and helpful. The part is on its way. Though I wish I didn't have to wait two weeks to use the oven, she got things taken care of right away.

Simply the basics
Have only been able to use the top burners so far. Seems to take longer to boil water and could be due to the guards standing higher than one I had previously. The oven gas supply tube broke when the installer tried to remove the natural gas orifice to put on the LP orifice so had to order new orifice kit and supply tube. The supply tube arrived promptly but still waiting for the orifice kit which was ordered Dec. 23, 2019 and today is Feb. 24, 2020. I am so looking forward to having an oven soon I hope. I like that there is no electricity needed and the ignition is prompt and no problems.

Good stove
I bought this a couple weeks ago and installed it last week. I love this stove. It has enough btus to boil water quickly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the pilot light for the oven. There is not a cutout in the bottom of the oven to view the pilot and see that it is lit before turning the oven burner on. If I don't use the oven for several days, the pilot light does not light the first time. So I have to let the igniter spark several times before I try to turn the oven burner on. This unnecessary "extra sparking" will cause early failure of the igniter.

Does what it’s supposed to do - cooks food
I bought this because I live off the grid and was seeking a range with battery ignition. The battery ignition does work but is finicky. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the oven started. Additionally, it’s hard to tell if the ignition has been triggered without actually opening the oven and looking for the flame, as it’s not particularly audible if there are any other sounds in the room (e.g., people talking, frying sounds, etc.). It does cook adequately and I am overall pleased to have found a range with the battery ignition feature.

I love that is off grid even though I live in a city. I can cook, even carefully heat the house if the electricity goes out. Since there isn'r any electricity, only a 9 volt battery for ignition, there isn't a light in the oven so I see no need to have a window in the door. I wish it didn't. But I am grateful for the oven. This is the third such range I've bought, not becauser it breaks but because when I move I leave it behind. The new owners want it after I explain it's attributes.

Oven problems
We were so excited to have a range that will work even without electricity. The burners work great, but the oven....it heats up to the set temperature just fine. But after about 30 minutes, the gas automatically turns off and never comes back on. So if you are baking something longer than 25-30 minutes it will never get done. I guess the thermostat doesn't work in this brand new range. Wish we had kept our old range so at least we could bake our Thanksgiving dinner.

Propane was quite involved, I think it would be great if the buyer had the option to choose which set up they wanted with purchase. We purchased this range for my second kitchen for use during our frequent winter time power outages,which can last for more than a day, I now feel much better prepared.
