It's working for now. Hope it goes longer than 5 y
So far so good. The identical unit died (freezer at 18 deg, frig at 60 deg) in just short of 5 years. That's it, five years! Too expensive to even consider repair. Remember when frig/freezers were good for at least 10 years? That's long gone! And it had a good location in that it was in a nice laundry room, not the garage. So, it's expensive to replace a unit every 5 years. Modern appliances are designed to fail. The older ones went too long for companies to make any money. They took care of that! The reason we went with the same unit is the counter depth and the width. Not many like this one. The whole affair sucks....!!!!

Great fridge, space saver,
Quiet fridge. I am able to keep items organized in the freezer. In the fridge veggies and fruit stay fresher in the drawers. I didn't realize how small this fridge was since I downsized from a bulky side by side. I gained lots of room in my kitchen by choosing this fridge. I'm learning to adjust, less buying so much that just sits in the fridge and is forgotten. So though the fridge size seems smaller it helps me make better groceries shopping lists and stick to a budget. The freezer holds the same amount as our previous side by side. Stainless steel doesn't hold onto fingerprints. Good quality fridge and we are very happy with our purchase!

Bought two!!!
I love this refrigerator/freezer so much that I bought one for current house after selling previous house with one it it. TRULY, it is the counter-depth whereas many advertise they are but still stick out a couple inches. It is soooo quiet, just an occasional, pleasant hum. Love the reassurance of correct temperature seen on the outside door. Food lasts a long time, more than previous refrigerators. I did have to remove one cabinet because the hinge sticks up a little. Am waiting to buy a third when the smaller units are available for next residence. No more deep reaching--everything is very accessible and easy to see in comfortably bright lights.

Beautiful fridge
So far so good! Easy installation as there is no water line for water or ice which after several neighbors floods from such, we didn’t want a fridge with either.
It’s a little louder than our old fridge (20years) and smaller capacity inside. The shelves aren’t overly high, cannot put wine bottles in upright.
Beautiful to look at. And we love no exterior handle that stick out.
I will say it shows fingerprints like crazy, but we don’t have kids so not overly concerned about it.
Overall we love the look of the fridge and the French doors for both fridge and freezer.
Since we just got it today, I will follow up at a later date to update

The whole package!
One of the few mid-sized French Door refrigerator options on the US market that is counter depth. For my smallish kitchen it is a perfect solution. No protruding handles & gorgeous styling. A big plus - it’s very quiet. It’s also Energy Star, so my energy supplier gave me a rebate. The interior is well lit in both compartments. I’m amazed at all the useable space. If you take out one of the freezer bins, it will fit a large frozen pizza box - so cool! The fridge door shelves fit wine bottles, but not 1 gallon milk. Overall it’s a fabulous value 2 months in: I hope the long term reliability will keep pace with my 5 star review.

Don't add the icemaker!
I love my refrigerator. Great space saver. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is, the icemaker. A GE icemaker is suggested as an add on. No one knows how to install it correctly. The first people drilled a hole in the wrong spot and they had to replace our refrigerator, which took a month. Once we finally got it installed correctly, it worked for a week. This was after the fourth person had been to our house. If you need an icemaker get a countertop one.
The refrigerator itself is great. Stop telling people an icemaker can be added. Honestly, I would still love the fridge without one.

The feature I love the most is the freezer, with its individual bins. I can keep my frozen foods organized in dedicated bins for veggies, fruit, meat, etc. And I love the door "handles" too, which reduce my contact with the front doors, hence finger marks. Although the stainless steel is really fingerprint proof. And magnets will work on this fridge. The only drawback to this fridge is that a gallon container will not fit on the door, but I knew that before I purchased it. Gallon containers will fit on the lowest shelf. All in all, I think this refrigerator is a really well thought out design.

Great design, but not built to last
My unit is 3 years old. I scoured the internet for something stylish that would fit in my kitchen. Fell in love with this unique fridge. Unfortunately it needed a repair that was 50% of the total fridge cost (would not hold temperature and had to replace the evaporator fan). Haier/GE won't stand by their products. If you're looking to only have a working fridge for 1-2 years then go for it. But if you want something that will last, this isn't the fridge for you.
