Amazing small refrigerator
During covid, our family reorganized itself and suddenly we had 4 dogs and 4 foodie adults living in one really small house that had no appliances to start. I did a lot of research on refrigerators and decided this was our best bet but really had concerns about how tiny it was. I won't say it was perfect for a family of four serious cooks but we made it work. And, with all of us living here, eating three meals a day, we really did give it a workout. I selected this model over the french door because I liked the two large storage drawers. In real life, they worked as well as I hoped. We added two clear plastic storage bins for small jars. The one non-perfect feature of this fridge is that a partially opened wine bottle really has no place to go regardless of how well you organize. Nonetheless, this is an excellent product. It keeps food temperatures precisely and packs more in than you could ever imagine.

lots of love but hate the drawer
Bought this to replace a standard top freezer fridge in a narrow size kitchen in a household of 2. At the time of this review, we've had it for approx 3 weeks.
Pros:
-compared to our old standard top freezer unit, this Haier is quieter
-It's more compact and it doesn't hold that much less compared to the old one, considering (it would hold more for us if I found the fridge drawers easier to use)
-It's much much easier to see/access fridge with it on top.
-The shelves and door have been working out nice for us.
-nice bright lights
-more organized freezer is a bonus
-also love that it doesn't have an ice maker to break or take up room.
Cons:
-freezer hugs the ground making it a little cumbersome to use (but really that's the compromise for the upper fridge arrangement with such a compact design)
-the fridge drawers are a pain! Super awkward to use. I go out of my way to try and NOT use these new drawers. The bottom fridge drawer especially.

Bad product
I had this refrigerator for about 5 years now. In 2 years it need it a new light board inside.
The 3rd year the wires that powers the control board, in front of door need it repair. due to a major flaw on the design. from opening and closing the door the wires in side broke, and the control board stopped working. Now year 5 the main board is fried. This is a terrible expensive product, and very unreliable.

An appliance shouldn't fail after 3 years.
Failed after 3 years. Just stopped. Incredibly inconvenient at best. Drop over a grand on the product and from the looks of things we've been swindled by a defective product. Other reviews have pointed out that service people say it's poorly designed and the circuit board and wiring fail.

Have only had this fridge for a few weeks but have been very happy with how it fits into my small NYC kitchen and elevates the space! Massive upgrade from my other fridge in terms of usability since the drawers and doors are designed such that the door only needs to be opened 90 degrees to be pulled out (other fridges sometimes don’t allow for this unless the door has plenty of clearance to open almost all the way)
My only complaint is the customizability of the shelves, particularly on the doors. The heights and widths mean you have to get a bit creative with where you place condiments, wine bottles, milk, etc.

Great size for smaller kitchen and well designed
After searching for the right sized refrigerator compact with decent capacity and reading reviews from several makers I decided this might meet my needs. Well, this has exceeded my expectations, it replaced an older model that worked well and this being energy efficient i wasn’t sure if it could match the old one, again exceeded my expectations, very easy to get comfortable with since the freezer is on the bottom and everything I want is right there. Everything fits and has a place, compartments are fantastic. Still relatively new to me but if it works like it does not, quiet and effectively cold; i am sure it will continue to be a great addition to my remodeled kitchen.

Great features, size and quality for the price
Our house has a small kitchen with a short space for the fridge. We are both very tall and having a freezer on the bottom makes a huge difference for us. This was the only option we could find that would fit and met our needs. It has what you need, and not what you don't. The layout is great and even though it is smaller than many it feels perfectly sized most of the time. Fewer things get lost in the back, and the stainless is super easy to wipe down and doesn't mark easily. Overall, we are very happy - especially because other options with the freezer on bottom were nearly twice as expensive.
