Thanks to an included six-month subscription to HP’s Instant Ink program, the easy-to-use HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe monochrome laser AIO provides excellent value for the price.
Six months of free toner and two-year warranty with HP+, Low purchase price, Low running costs with Instant Ink, Small footprint, Strong smartphone integration, other automation with HP Smart App
Lacks ADF, Small 150-sheet paper cassette, No secondary paper source
This HP monochrome multi-function LaserJet delivers high image quality and good performance on the basics. However, not all performance is top-shelf, and the online HP Plus configuration won't suit all users. As a monochrome laser printer, the LaserJet M234dwe delivers the goods.
Fast text printing, Quick duplex printing of text, Copying is faster than average, Six months of toner included
Text-and-graphics PDF printing is slow, Toner costs are slightly above average, Small 1.27-inch monochrome LCD, Sloppy edge detection in scanning software, Cloud-focused functionality won't suit all users
I have not had this printer for long, about two weeks. I had another printer before that was giving me problems regularly. I purchased this one to replace it and to date it has been a huge relief when i need to use it. I no longer have printer problems and it is considerably faster at printing too
Inexpensive Laser Printer that works well, but it required 2 technical support calls. The documentation doesn't state that the printer should only be connected to 2G networks, but that is a requirement if you don't want problems.
This printer is fast and the quality of print is great. I love not needing print cartridges. But, I needed HP support on the phone to set up. There was no USB port as the instructions indicated and the HP tech accessed my network, got the IP address the printer and set it up quickly.
Great printer for the price: wireless, high resolution, full duplex.
Works phenomenally in my home office that I share with my wife. She is a nursing student and I'm working from home so we needed a laser printer vs ink jet. This thing has just been spitting great quality pages out from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good home office device.
After previously owing an older model Epson Ink Jet, this newer model HP Laser is makes me wonder why I didn't upgrade years ago. I work from a home office, so there's no need for color printing. I just want fast and reliable. I get that with this HP. Setup was easy through the app.
