Hp 11.6" 16GB Chromebook 11 G5

US computer firm HP has launched an ultra-cheap, affordable laptop in the US – HP Chromebook 11 G5 it is called. The laptop features a slimmed-down design of the HP Chromebook 13 and a narrower display bezels. It is thinner and lighter than previous generation Chromebooks.

I had it going on three years and so far not one problem. So it is well worth the money. If I had to pick one little problem they should make a hole or whatever you call it. For where the wifi cable goes

After researching numerous chromebooks, I decided to buy this one mainly because of the price and I've had several HP computers in the past. Battery life is important to me and so far I'm averaging 9 hours on a full charge.

  Clear, well lit screen, boots fast, simple maintenance, Google's webapps do everything I need well.

  After 3 months, the touchpad stopped working. I tried calling HP for support, but I can't seem to get through to someone who can help me, but at least they've thanked me for my patience about 30,000 times.

Just what I wanted. Replacing 3 yr old HP chromebook which was having screen problems. Does all the old one did and does better job at reading local newspaper I have internet subscription for. Will try not to fold closed as often which is what wrecked old one.

Speed excellent, find color is exactly like my Lenova laptop.Like not having to worry about viruses and malware with no outside protection.Hard time getting used to chrome. Don't like not having a cap key and having to sign in every time booting up.

  This is my first Chromebook. It seems to work well for my purposes. It is convenient for checking and clearing e-mail, looking at my accounts online, googling info while watching the evening news. The 11.6" display is just right for a small laptop.

  No cons yet. This is a review of functionality not durability or longevity. Barely had a week. Hope it lasts longer than my tablet (five years, on/off button failed).
