Expanding on Gretsch's Renown Maple series, Renown Walnut delivers new sounds with Renowns time-tested build and performance. Tones are very well balanced and project enhanced low-end richness. Premium North American wood is used to construct the 6-ply walnut/maple/walnut shells with 30-degree bearing edges and naturally finished shell interiors. The walnut serves as the foundation for darker sound, while the maple produces clean mids and highs.All drums are finished with ultra-sturdy Renown series chrome hardware and include die-cast hoops, hinged tom and floor tom leg brackets and heavy-duty die-cast bass drum claws and spurs.Cymbals, snare and hardware sold separately.
