The Nest Hello (wired) video doorbell is a fantastic device. It offers a lovely, premium design that is more appealing than its competitors and it brings with it a great feature set as well as excellent image and video quality.

The Hello does its job well, notifying you when someone is at the door and allowing you to talk to them or play a preset phrase. It isn’t perfect: it’s expensive and – for UK homeowners – not easy or convenient to install.

Added as a second camera for the back door. Install was simple. Camera quality is actually better than the front door (same camera, just older). Front door has a fish eye view while the more recent doorbell camera looks identical to the regular nest camera.

The picture quality is great. Installation is simple. The chime indoor chime feature is problematic. From reviews, it looks like it can burn out if the voltage is too high. It also won’t trigger the chime if the voltage is too low. While your camera functions correctly, the indoor chime may not.

The doorbell was fairly easy to install and worked right away. I like it for the ability to see who is at the door before responding. I don't like the several second delay that it has. I would have preferred and frankly expected it to be almost instantaneous.

I purchased doorbell because I wanted a video of our front door when we are gone.I have not seen the other doorbells on the market, but this one does everything I was hoping it would. It alerts us on our phones if someone is at the door or even approaching. Video is clear, even at night.

Not easy to install. I was hoping my bf could put this up in one day and it's still sitting in the box. I should have done more research on what equipment was needed for this doorbell. If you already have a working doorbell with a chime and power supply it might work for you.

Excellent product. I already had the NEST Thermostat, so thought I'd give their other products a shot, and I admit that I should have bought this thing long ago.The set-up could not have been more simple. NEST provides easy to follow instructions.

I am so happy with my Nest Doorbell / Camera. The picture quality is AMAZING! I had to install a more powerful transformer so the install was a little more difficult than anticipated, but once I got that transformer installed it was a piece of cake setting up the doorbell.

After the 30 day trial, you do not get any video. A snapshot, most of those snapshots do not capture a face. Also, after 3 hours those images delete themselves. Be prepared and ready what you have to subscribe to every month.
