The sensor pack works well in doing the simple things that it is required to do. HOWEVER, for the price, I would want it to include being a smoke detector and from a software perspective, Id like to be able to customize the time windows that it works in.
My home has warm and cold spots so the Google sensors are great for helping balance out the air temperatures throughout the house. It allows me to selectively set the temperature for a room and then turn on "fan only" to allow the temperature to evenly disburse throughout the house and reach the...
Love the ability to control the temperature to other areas of the house. Our Nest is in the hallway and it is a good 10 degrees warmer or cooler than the rest of the house. I made the sensor in my bedroom the “master” unit and the system continues to work until the bedrooms have reached the desire...
They do exactly what Nest says theyll do - they allow you to specify alternative sensors as the source for the temperature. The reason I dont give it 5 stars is because overall, the model that Nest uses for them is a bit less than ideal.
I have a few of these they are nice if you want to monitor temps in different rooms or set one to turn the furnace or AC on or off. With that being said the scan code is on a pull out tag so if you don't save it or loose it your probably never going to set them up if you ever have to reenter them...
We use it to make sure the baby's room it as the correct temperature.
The new Nest Sensor serves its purpose as a somewhat pricey thermometer that will give you the temperature of the room in which it's placed. What it won't do is allow you to average the temperature of multiple rooms into the thermostat's settings, to create a more balanced environment throughout...
This is a great little add-on for nest thermostats. It allows you to provide more precise heating or cooling for a particular room or area of your house. It seems to work pretty well and was fairly easy to install (just make sure you have the correct version of the nest thermostat.
Sensors allow temp of one room on large zone to be controlled separately via cell phone app. Great for large areas controlled by one Nest.
My thermostat is in the coolest area of my house and I had to always guess at what to set the A/C to to cool my high ceiling living room or bedroom, now I put one one these in those areas and it does the job. Adding to the thermostat via the app was very easy. Good product, I would recommend
