The Hero 7 might not come with a host of new shooting modes or imaging improvements, but it does come with a few key tweaks that make it exciting to new and old users alike. The upgrade in stability alone will save hours of potential memories from the trash can.

GoPro put a lot of awesome features in the Hero 7 Black, and honestly from what we’ve experienced using it for around a week in Koh Samui and Bangkok in Thailand, it’s well worth the upgrade, even if you already have last year’s model.

The Hero 7 Black has several features such as live streaming, gimbal like video stabilisation and improved microphone, which will lift the action camera experience significantly.

It might only be a relatively small step forward from its predecessor, but the Hero 7 Black’s excellent video quality, stabilisation, usability and range of mounts make it the best all-round action cam you can buy.

The GoPro Hero 7 Black adds a number of useful features over the Hero 6 Black, which makes it a decent upgrade. However, we wish that these features could have been added to the Hero 6 with software updates, since they share many components.

Using the GoPro Hero 7 Black reminds you just why the company has dominated this market. While expensive and not without fault, it's great to see the company paying attention to key areas like video stabilisation. Great videos, great images and, most importantly, great fun.

The 3 star rating is an average between a device that meets 98 percent of its claims but fails miserably at one of them.I agree with all of the five star ratings I have seen here. There is one failure that is heavily talked about when searched on the web - overheating.
First GoPro I've personally owned, but have used a lot. Before now, none were good enough for me to purchase for myself. That has all changed with the GoPro Hero 7. I love the stabilization and that was the main selling point for myself. I've used it in "vlog" format and also in action shots.
I like my HERO7 for the stabilization and back panel display with controls. I purchased HERO2 and 4 (with a gimble), so this the new features are nice improvements. I like that I don't need the gimble, but disappointed that the new size doesn't fit the gimble - and the gimble is necessary for 4K...
By far one of the best camera investments I've made. The 4K 60fps looks really good for such a small thing. The new Time-warp features are unbelievable. I was saving up to buy a the Ronin S, but after using the hero 7 black, I really don't think I need to rush out and get one.
Impressive stabilization, love the time warp and slow motion settings
I have owned alomost every gopro this is the best one by far
I bought this a month ago and i am happy with the product.
Let me start with some of the positives,1. The device is a great pocket device and the ease of use is wonderful2. Connects with your phone app and just has wonderful functionality3. Clarity is good and the stabilization works wonderfullySome scope of improvement1. Battery life is bad.
photo quality is awesome, and the added stability feature great, you don't really need to get a seperate stabilizer handheld mobile for it. only complain would be browsing to the features of the unit can be made easier like short cuts, instead of swiping 4x or 5x just to get to a feature.
Great new technology, video looks almost perfect, No classic GoPro shacking video (hyper smooth stabilization) they made a better UI that make the menus easy to navigate.
