I cannot recommend this Monopod highly enough! Strong yet light and able to comfortably support my 300 2.8 and 500 f/4. For tougher and/or longer hikes, consider leaving your tripod at home - this guy does the job!
Wish I'd bought this ages ago. You still need to practice at getting the most out of it but makes a very noticeable improvement.
Compact, Lightweight, Opens Quickly, Strong Construction
Happy with purchase.I was looking for a strong monopod that would handle any large Canon telephoto lens for fashion photography. Gitzo GM3551 6X Carbon Fiber Monopod, is perfect for my needs.
I bought this for taking the weight off of me when shooting sports and wildlife with telephoto lenses. Nice and light weight and will save your arms from being tired.
The Gitzo replaces an old aluminum monopod. I wanted a monopod that I can carry all day long at the Daytona and Sebring speedways. I found it in the Gitzo. It is lightweight and super strong. Perfect for shooting with my D7100 and a long zoom lens.
Retrait, il s'agit d'un hobby pour moi. Mais il s'agit ici du monopod le plus pratique et de qualit que j'ai possd.
I'm using this on a doc feature. Since I have a very heavy camera (a RED One MX) in a configuration that's 26 lbs...and we're running and gunning, a monopod lets me get in there quickly without having to be handheld......which is great. But has this terrible side to side play.
My first Gitzo product. Was amazed at how light it was, and barely noticed the weight of the mono during shoots. Although my camera/lense combo only weighed approx 22 lbs, I had the confidence that it could handle much more.
I use it most often with a 400 mm f2.8L Canon on an EOS 1Dx. I bought it to replace a slipping Velbon Sherpa Pro. I got no help from Velbon and decided to bite the bullet and replace it. The pain of paying has passed with the ease of use, efficiency and reliability.
Compact, Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
I'm planning a trip to Italy and wanted a light weight stabilization system for my equipment. I will also take a full blown tripod but thought there would be several occasions when this would fit the bill. I've never used a monopod before and took it out in the backyard this morning to give it a go.
