-I wish it had an SD card reader--there seems to be enough space -Ubuntu installed in less than 10 minutes. -I had to update my WiFi router's firmware (Netgear N300; WNR2000V3) to get the Brix to connect.

  -The SSD is fast, but I think I'd still rather have an acutal hard drive for storage capacity and reliability. -i5 seems very fast no apparent reason to spend money for the i7 -The HD4400 graphics do studder a bit it'd be nice to have a more robust graphic option.

Works great, once i got the RAM and SSD that aren't included, i mounted this to the back on the TV in our conference room. now we have a dedicated presentation computer and it's totally hidden. Note, this is not a ready to go PC. you have to buy a few pieces and install windows yourself.

  Unreliable audio: this thing is as stubborn as a child when it comes to outputting audio over HDMI. Seriosly it seems like magic when it actually works. The WiFi card seems not to like to play nice with routers. Caps out at 1.5MBps with a Netgear 450.

I love these units. So quick and so dependable. I have been using these at my company for all my user. We must have deployed almost a thousand of these so far. I ended up getting one for my home for a streaming box. Works like a champ.

These are great PC's for my application. We are using them for AV/Presentation/Remote Camera Control on conference room monitors. Quick easy install and setup with Windows 7 & 10 (couple minor driver issues with W10). PC's are super fast with a good mSata drive and the right amount of RAM.

Do not buy this brix if you are planning to use it for your VMware lab. This processor is not compatible to run ESXi. Secondly there is no SSD mounting option.

It is small, I will give it that, and works average. However, it has the loudest fan I have ever heard. Not loud like there is something wrong with it, but loud in that it makes a lot of air noise. And the fan is always on and always changing speed, making the noise even more noticeable..

Sent one in for repair and bought a new one too both bad out of the box. The "repaired" one had a note that said what was wrong but did not fix. I get the feeling they don't really care.purchased a competitors version I am happier.

Avoid all Intel NUC based computers. They have a known graphics sub-system defect that is not resolvable with any current Intel graphics drivers. The problem manifests as File Explorer and Taskbar icons blinking on and off, File Explorer windows flickering and rapidly switching to different folders...

Turned it into a HTPC and handles it well
