Handcrafted exclusively from solid tonewoods, the J-29 Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric is constructed of Sitka spruce and rosewood. Its scalloped 1930' advanced X-bracing pattern provides a rich and deep tone while belting out an incredibility wide dynamic range that is balanced across the tonal spectrum.2016 upgrades include a 2016 engraved truss rod cover and an L.R. Baggs Element VTC preamp system for ultimate plug-and-play ease. The fingerboard edge has been softened to comfortably fit the contour of the player' hand. A finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds have been used for the high gloss finish.The premium setup utilizes state-of-the-art German-engineered Plek technology to create the finest playing surface possible. The J-29 is hand finished for the finest feel and playability, and its smoother hand rubbed and oiled fingerboard and bridges will help them last longer and maximizes the wood's natural vibrancy.Includes hardshell case.
