A ceramic cartridge interfaces well with most PC sound cards (a magnetic cartridge wouldn't). The fidelity is good for "ripping" old vinyl records. Since this turntable needs to track somewhat heavy, I wouldn't repeatedly play records on it.

Great quality turntable, I bought as a starter model.
The player itself works marvelously and really makes me a lot more secure about putting my Vinyl down knowing that my record has minimal chance of skipping. I initially bought this product because not only was the price right for the quality, but the control the counterweight gives you is fantastic.

unit appears great, i am a senior and i am finding the audacity program more than i can get through, we have an apple and i printed off the how to install + setup / still hung up and can't follow, people need to realize some of us need a more simple step by step or are we just going to be left...
This is exactly what I was looking for in a turntable. I wanted something that had plenty of features along with the quality that this product provides without putting a huge dent in your wallet. Works like a charm!
