Garmin's heart-tracking blend of fashion watch and fitness watch is a great choice for everyday watch wearers who want a fully embedded fitness experience.

Full fitness features on a regular-looking analog watch. The Vivomove HR includes heart rate, step count and sleep tracking, and smart functions like notifications. It works on Android and iOS and has 50-meter water resistance and a weeklong-plus battery life.

The tiny touch display is hard to navigate. There are no physical buttons. It lasts longer in watch-only mode but won't track fitness, and the glass body can collect scuffs.
Garmin carefully treads the line between fitness tracker and stylish timepiece, and the results are mostly good. The hidden screen is a useful and unique addition, even if it's not great for handling notifications and suffers in sunlight.

+
Classic timepiece design, That hidden screen, Heart rate tracking
-
-
No GPS, Screen too small for notifications, Hard to read in bright sunlight
It’s worth buying only if you want a basic activity tracker and a regular watch in the same package. Even so, it’s overpriced. A $20 wristwatch and a Jawbone UP3 or FitBit Flex gives you about the same thing for almost $100 less.
The Garmin Vivomove is a well-crafted and stylish watch that provides bare-bones fitness tracking, but you're trading function for form.

Great fashion-watch design; one-year battery life; and can track steps and sleep automatically. Can sync with Android and iOS, and can be worn in the shower and while swimming.
-
-
Occasional connection issues with the Garmin app; watch lacks vibration; can't be used with other Garmin trackers; lacks advanced features like a heart rate sensor or smartphone alerts.
: The Garmin Vivomove HR delivers a highly appealing mix of affordability and features

+
Lightweight and comfortable, Lots of fitness features, Looks great

Logging activities can be fiddly, Smeary screen, Mediocre battery life
This is another really good device from Garmin which ticks all the boxes for your average users. There’s plenty of activity tracking options, sleep tracking, good battery life and plenty of data that can be analysed in the app itself.
A decent fitness tracker masquerading as a stylish traditional watch.
-
+
Stylish design, Accurate sleep tracking, Easy to track activity progress, One-year battery life
-
-
No vibration reminders and alarms, No background syncing, Hard to navigate app
The Garmin Vivomove lacks the smarts to satisfy fitness freaks, but it sure looks pretty
-
+
Subtle and stylish looks, No information overload, Brilliant battery

Too simple for serious sports-fiends, Missing a few features
Sleek and intuitive. It is good for someone who wants all the excellent Garmin metrics but doesn't want to spend their entire workout/day staring at their wrist. You can see graphs and watch your hear rate from your wrist if you want, or you can just set HR zone alerts to silently notify you so you...
Love this watch!! The only thing is it sometimes disconnects from Bluetooth and it takes forever to reconnect. But I love everything else about it. And it’s cute. Highly recommend!
Im very pleased with this hr watch. It has classic styling and modern technology all in one. I didnt want a gps watch as I mostly just walk and use an elliptical so this meets my needs. Reasonably accurate step counter and distance when calibrated to your stride, hr monitor is very nice as well.
Doesnt do much "smart watch" stuff, it's more like a fitness tracker with the face of a watch. That being said, I like it. It's cute and battery life has last me 3-4 days before recharging. I'd recommend for those who don't want a smart watch to do super cool stuff.
Bought to track my stress periods. Tracks stress, calories burned, pulse.
I love to exercise. This watch is perfect for tracking steps, calories and much more. I love the chic style and amazing quality of it.
Stylish smartwatch. Looks great casually or dressed up. Nice features but need some improvements.Cons:1. Unable to see display on a bright sunny day2. If multiple messages coming through from the same person the last message is displayed first.
Really enjoying using this watch. It looks like a lovely watch but hidden from view, until you request the info are a remarkable number of physical analytics of your life! Although I was interested in the number of steps I walked and calories used, I didn't really want something that looked to like...
