Garmin Approach S10 Golf Watch (Black)

The Garmin Approach S10 certainly keeps things simple, and we’re all for that for focused golf watches. It’s accurate, easy-to-use and the battery life is incredible – and in our opinion, there’s no need for it to do any more.

We tested out the Garmin s10 golf GPS watch at St Andrews – against a caddy.

Difficult to use on Golf course. Too complex at times. I should have stayed with my old,less involved Garmin

I bought this to replace my old Garmin which finally gave out (the wrist strap broke but the watch itself still works). So far, this one does what I need it to do (show me distances). I haven't quite figured out the other features! It's comfortable to wear and the battery lasts thru 18 holes.

Light weight and easy to read. I have only used it five times so I haven’t yet become comfortable finding the distances to water, traps, etc but I think that is just a matter of time. This watch recharges much more quickly than my previous Garmon. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

I purchased this golf watch for distances and it works perfectly well for the distances to the front, middle and end of the greens as well as front and end of the water hazards, bunkers, etc. The battery life is sufficient and I like to wear it daily as I like the display very much.

It took me awhile to figure out how to work the four push buttons. The information booklet which came with the S10 could have had some examples on how to perform some of the functions such as setting up to play a golf round. Trial an error showed me how use the Garmin S10.

You cannot beat this unit for the price. Used it in Florida at a small municipal course and it worked great. Others I played with had similar tools and we were always +/- a yard from the tee or fairway. The Garmin also shows hazards and will even keep score if you ask it to.

Damn watch, I'm still not shooting par. Seriously, I've used it twice so far and as far as I can see, it is as advertised. It states accurate yardage and easy to read in the sunlight. It can only improve my game. Very good deal for a hundred bucks.
