Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Small buttons from
Good looking but do need changes
For the cost, it does not have a wow factor. Looks good due to the high slope of the front.
It is quiet. Time will tell whether it is durable or not.
Push buttons for the light, fan speed, and off are just too small. Can't see the labels unless I strain my eyes. I guess once I am familiar with the positions of the buttons, I can find them better. (really?) Need to design them to be more visible. I am short and yet cannot see the buttons unless I stoop to find them. Wonder how that affects tall people? Don't put them in front, just mount them where a normal cook can see them without peeking up.

Finish a mess
Installer must have had trouble with adhesives. Adhesive remover recommended by builder didn’t work. Finally I upped the ante and used Weiman’s (very fine and gentle polish) and microfiber with the grain. Will take several more passes to get right. Pitting/rust on corner-almost impossible to find. Also, who passed this with scratches across the grain? Take a lesson from Dr. D or get better inspection…or both.
Slightly noisy fan (no surprise) so fix vibrational modal frequency vs fan rpm.
And finally make protective plastic easier to remove.
A Proud ABC course grads!

Not a good safe Product
This product is faulty. The hood vent plates keep falling off because the length of the plate is short. It is risky and can cause severe injuries if the plates fall off while you are cooking and anything hot on the stove can spill and cause severe bodily injury. It keeps falling off even when the hood is not in use.

Beautiful, quiet at med level ... some issues.
The unit is really beautiful no question about it. It is heavy, sturdy, and definitely well built. My installation is top vented with 8 in duct and fixed to the back wall with the installation bar. The provided paper templates helped alot on this.
There are few things that could have been better.
The top damper screen holes are off by as much as 1/4 in on to the main unit. I had to drill (see photo) 2 different holes on the unit with a drill bit #2. I think the screws provided are self tapping so it was not a problem even if the holes were not exactly the same size (slightly smaller).
Given the price, I wish the provided the coal filter and at least on small duct cover. Yes, i know they are quite expensive but the unit itself isn't cheap either.
My recommendation, if you hired a contractor to install make sure you tell them to tape (aluminum tape) any obvious air leaks and ratling metal around the motor, the damper, and the ducts.

Nice look, good air flow
We use this new vent hood daily. Stainless Steel look is impressive, and the air flow, especially on turbo (hold High 3 seconds), is great. The lighting is a bit dim, even on high, the grease drip pan falls off too easily, and one of the vent latches is tough to operate to remove the vent, and while I like the look of hiding the buttons underneath, I worry that it might make the switches too exposed to grease and steam directly over the stove. However, it’s the best oven hood vent we’ve ever used.

Defective Filter Knob on New Unit
Been using this range hood for about six months now, and overall it functions well with no major issues.
Cleaning the baffle filters is expected maintenance, but I did notice a quality concern right away. When we removed the filters for the first time, one of them already had a faulty knob mechanism for installation/removal. It wasn’t due to mishandling—it just came that way. Unfortunately, despite being nearly new, I now have to purchase a replacement filter.
