Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Functional Product but very hazardous ones head.
I have no issues with the function other than the vent cover on the left side sagging because it was a little warped when we got it, but I've gotten it to align well enough not to bother me as much. The primary reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone is that the corners are extremely pointed and if you are tall like me @ 6' 3" with the distance they are designed to work and the regular counter width. I'm constantly leaning into the danger zone. I've had to put baby corner bumpers on both outside corners to protect my head from being spiked. Seriously why on earth would someone design these edges to be anything but smooth and unsafe?

Don't waste your money
Had this for just over a year. We didn't have much of a choice as we purchased a new home and the builder used GE products. Despite regular cleaning of the screens we continuously had problems with the grease not getting vented...and we don't even deep fry. Sautéing vegetables, pan frying salmon, etc is about as greasy as we get. The surrounding cabinets have grease all over them. When we finally realized this wasn't normal and looked into solving the problem (possible vent issues, fan installed incorrectly, etc) we learned nothing is wrong, it is just a poor product. Now I need to buy another range and spend several hundred dollars on an appliance that is just over year old.

Looks good. BUT has Major flaw.
Bought this hood and $3,000.00 of other GE appliances 1/20/2017.
When the power goes off the light flashes intermittently ---- forever.
Turning the power off and back on does not solve the problem.
24 hours minimum - maybe. Last time it took two days of leaving it off for 24 hrs before it worked properly again. I am right now going through the same ridiculous process trying to get it working again. VERY disappointing.

Will not recommend this fan.
Will not buy another GE fan to replace this one that is now mal-functioning after just two years of moderate use. The touchpad is fritzy, coming on by itself with no stove/oven in use at all times of the day and night, the fan coming on in any of the speed settings, and the lights as well. Of course, it is past the warranty, but replacing a fan that requires as electrician as well as the cost of the appliance is unreasonable. Loved the look and profile of this fan, but it's a dud.

Filter install
Recently bought this unit, and it looks great, but-- I am also having problems with the filters staying in place. The front pins will not engage into the slots! Looking at it, it seems the slots are a touch too high in the unit for the pins to engage--Not happy at all about this!

Okay but not great
This range hood replaced a combo hood and microwave. We do not have it set as vented at this time. I think venting would result in great improvement.
It is quieter than the microwave but still not quiet. For some reason, I equate noise with the amount of power, which I know is wrong! When you have a recirculating hood as we do, power doesn't mean a whole lot.
I do not like nor recommend the touch pad for lighting and fan speed. I'd much rather have mechanical switches that respond instantly instead of when it feels like it!
It is okay for the price but I wish we would have saved up more and gotten a bit higher quality. We chose out of a catalog because the store did not have a display model. I don't recommend doing that!

No Quality control at this GE assembly location
This range hood was the exact model that was installed just a week ago that did not work. I ordered a replacement and it was installed by a true Pro. The new replacement would not work either. Upon taking the insides out of the hood, the pro discovred a loose bank of controls inside and behind the push button controls that had not been properly installed into the holding brackets. He also discovered the same problem inside the old one that he removed.

Not the Best or Even Second
The vent hood welds are clearly visible. Its like the wiling machine was too hot and it shows through on the stainless steel finish along the edges. The first grease screens that go on the bottom did not fit correctly. Had to get new ones which fit a little better but not perfectly. The charcoal filter was not included in the first one (oh yeah, they took the first one back because of the wiling thing and the second one had the same issue). I've had issues with nearly all my brand spanking new GE Profile appliances. I bought an entire kitchen set up and they are not very good. Good luck!
