Great Features

The interior lighting is much better
The glass shelves are trimmed in metal edges not plastic
The water station is stainless steel not plastic
When approaching the unit the night light senses you and becomes brighter
The water station's icons are illuminated all the time
The water filter's location provide more space
The 4th drawer is convenient
The water filler provides how many ounces you have used per fill
The 'Door in Door' feature is convenient
Definitely the nicest GE Profile we have had.

A nice mix of features and capacity
Our recent purchase has been great thus far and with no major complaints. The cooling drawer is a nice feature but would be better with a customizable range for temperature control. We really like the soft touch drawers and the accessible door shelves from the right access door. Not having to open it up all the way is a nice touch. The interior space and lighting is nice and bright. The brightness is also adjustable from within the app are several other functions. Having wifi access is useful even if it's not used all the time. This purchase has led us to consider replacing our other appliances with matching GE Profile appliances.

The Refrigerator That Has it All
We had some very specific wants for our refrigerator and this model has them all. We really enjoy all of its features:
- plenty of storage space on easily reachable shelves that have a great light in the back for seeing things
- a place where a tall bottle of wine could be stored
- nice size freezer sections
- a special pull-out refrigerator door for easy access and lots of storage for cheeses and other delis that we use a lot.
- finally, a good maintenance review.
Highly recommend this refrigerator. We have only had it about 5 months, but thoroughly enjoying, and bought an additionally warranty as is recommended for all refrigerators.

Great design!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has made my work in the kitchen so much easier! The door-in-door makes so much sense in being able to grab my most used items in a snap. Actually everything is within easy reach and is so well illuminated by the back wall of light! The ice and water dispenser has plenty of clearance for almost all of my water bottles and the auto fill is awesome. I also love the fourth door which makes snacks and drinks so easily accessible. The freezer is likewise easy to locate items in. This is just an all around great appliance and I’m thrilled to have found it!

Overall this is a good refrigerator however there are a few improvements that I would recommend:
1) lettering on ice/water dispenser is difficult to read, a color change or a less reflective look is needed
2) the drawers are not as sturdy as the previous generation. They are lighter in weight and do not move as smoothly
3) the drain tray on the water/ice maker dispenser does not secure in place. It sits on top of the overflow loosely
4) I ordered the non fingerprint stainless and was disappointed that the side panels were not stainless or even the option to order stainless. Not every kitchen has build in cabinets for the refrigerator to house

only have had fridge 1 month 3 different mornings wake up to warm fridge and freezer. The first time we called for service repair person was not available for 3 days .In the mean time we unplugged for about 15 min. Once plugged back up it started working properly. When repair person arrived he could not diagnose, since it was working. Since then it has stopped cooling twice more. The first time we lost all all food now I don't even put much in freezer or fridge. Don't want to leave it off ,because I do need to keep what I have from perishing, but I do need to get it repaired. It happened again this morning a SUNDAY.

Love the drawers, but the doors are an issue
The product marketing claims it's to be built to fit a standard 36" refrigerator opening. If you have a wall on either side that is as deep or deeper than the refrigerator's depth, the door next to the wall cannot be opened. The doors hinge around the side of the fridge, requiring an additional inch or two to the width of the fridge. in order to open the doors. The only exception is the door-in-door, which swings forward only, and not around to the side of the unit. If all doors hinged like the door-in-door, it would fit a standard 36" refrigerator opening. I have to structurally modify the house to make it work in my standard 36" refrigerator opening.

Excessively Noisy Refrigerator
I do not recommend this refrigerator! It makes loud popping sounds throughout the day that can be heard in the next room. I worked with GE for 11 months to get it repaired and after 6 repair attempts, the refrigerator is still noisy. GE concluded that since the refrigerator cools our food, it is operational. They also stated that the service manual warns of popping noises. Of course we don’t get a service manual until after the purchase. None of the research we did before purchasing this refrigerator mentioned this noise nuisance. So, we are documenting it now! So disappointed!! I recommend avoiding this model!
