GE Profile PV970NSS 30 Inch Wall Mount Ducted Hood

I am really enjoying this range hood in my kitchen. The sleek look of the stainless steel complements my other stainless appliances. There are two light settings and five different vent fan speeds. The light is bright enough that I can cook without any other lights on if I wanted to.

We like this product...the only comment I would have is I would like to have increase / decrease buttons for the fan and lights rather than cycling to the most powerful and then pressing it again turns it off!

This is a great unit and even my general contractor commented on how well its built. But I do not think installation should be done by someone without much experience.

Pros: Looks great! Lighting is bright a illuminates the cooking surface well. Fan ha 4 speeds and if vented to the outside will do a good job of keeping odors out of the house.Cons: The fan is loud esp.

The description of the product is misleading.....it is NOT a chimney hood but a wall unit. I had to purchase another model. Suppliers were gracious to allow a return beyond the date, but sadly the shipment costs were too high so I now have the two hoods.

THE LIGHTS WORKED THE FIRST DAY, THEN THEY QUIT WORKING. I SET UP A IN HOUSE APPT THRU THEIR WEBSITE, NO ONE SHOWED UP. SO I SET UP ANOTHER APPT FOR THE 15TH. HOPE THEY SHOW.

I gave this four stars because I don't care for the fact that the chute coming down from the ceiling isn't one seamless piece. My eye always goes directly to the seam and it looks cheap. Other than that one esthetic thing, it works really well.

Very nice looking vent hood with great suction power. It is very easy to use with two bright lights. I would purchase it again.
