GE Profile PHP9036BMTS 36 Inch Induction Smoothtop Cooktop

I am very disappointed in this cooktop. I have talked to friends and family that have induction cooktops and all told me that I would love the fact that the cooktop does not get hot only the cookware gets hot. To my surprise and disappointment your cook top stays hot after the burner is shut off.

Looked at the reviews before purchasing this product and I am sooo happy I did. This cooktop is very well built and is very pleasant to use. Easy to operate and and works hard with its performance. Worth every penny!

I would rather cook with gas, but cooking with magnets is a sacrifice I'm happy to make for the sake of not contributing to fracking. There are some awesome things about this product - it's EXTREMELY low-profile - so that when people walk in our house they think we don't have a stove.

I moved and found myself with a gas stove again. After 6 months I gave up and replaced with the exact same GEProfile induction cooktop. It now feels like home, so happy to have rapid up to temp, quick cool down, and I do feel like a more constant even heat from the burner. I’m a fan

Love this smooth cooktop! I`d prefer it to any other cooktops or ranges in total I`ve ever used! Works and heats perfectly, all 5 elements are very useful and great. I`ve never had such satisfying experiment while cooking. Definitely recommend it

Works. The circuit boards failed about a month after install. Ge sent a tech and repaired the issue. The tech suggested that the fail relatively often.

OMG! What a treat it is to cook. Yes, you will more than likely need to get new cookware but once you start cooking with this cooktop, you will be very pleased. Clean up is a breeze. If we are frying, simply cover the cooktop with paper towel, set your pan in the burner and cook.

Every feature works as it should and help create a easier, better way to cook meals. Controls are easy to manage and the elements give essential heating power.

There is little variation between 4 and 5 on the burners. If on 4, it is hardly cooking, and if on 5 it is going to burn the food. 5 is like the same as 9 almost! I love that it boils water in under a minute.

This is our third GE induction cooktop in two different houses. We love the speed at which induction heats and cools down. I must say the first GE induction cooktop we owned many years ago was the best but they are still very good products.
